I am forever forgetting when the stitchy mags hit the shops and wonder if any of you who subscribe to Cross Stitch Gold or Cross Stitch Collection could post details of when you receive your mags so that I know when to look out for them in the shops. (the shop near me doesn't sell most x stitch mags so I have to make a special trip to $miths) I bought Cross Stitch Gold last month and there were some patterns I liked in the "next issue" advert but of course I have placed the mag in a safe place at home and therefore can't check when to look out for it in the shops.

Cross Stitch Gold issue 97 due out 16th October, Cross Stitch Collection issue 216 on sale 26th October.

Brednall - can't help with the Lavendar chart have only had 2 issues of Cross Stitch Card shop and not got that one.

Laura - I don't think PVA will work. I remember getting a fox freebie along similar lines and it came unstuck when I used PVA.:o

b_e_g - I have added your dates to my list on page 1. I intend to put the date on the front of mine so it can be seen clearly but it's very much personal preference.

Flat Eric - I know what you mean about the Asissi cards. There are some that I thought the background overpewered the actual words.

I did something VERY silly today I decided to put all my UFO's and my 'to do' stitching into one box so it isn't in various locations around the house. Now I have seen it all together it's made me realise just how long I'm going to need to live (and bearing in mind I will definitely be adding to the pile as well) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think I need to join you in the SABLE club, but have to say I think a lot of us could join. I know everyone that I know that does craft have stashes that are absolutely massive. Did get rid of most of my wool stash a few years ago as I knew I'd never get round to using it.
