    I'm on Freesat from Sky and I watch it on my old CRT TV and the 10 year old Panasonic box! We all (including me) qualify for the Antiques Roadshow!

    Up until very recently this was exactly my situation!
    I have to say seeing high definition on my new flat panel TV has been a revelation..

    So presumably you upgraded the box too?
    It's one reason I'm putting it off. I'll end up spending a fortune on a new TV and a new box and also having the satellite dish checked (it's never been the same since the roofers were up there).

    Yes, I re-subscribed to Sky when I saw the very poor picture available via Scart from the old Panasonic Digibox.
    Could have bought a new Freesat box, but I liked the idea of the Soccer and Movies.
    I honestly can't watch any channel not broadcasting in HD!
