Morning Flybabes and the ever lovely Flyboy
Sorry not posted much but just way too busy with no end in sight. Just written two articles for local NCT newsletter. Haven't washed and dressed yetand need to get off to the dentist at some point.
What I'd really like to be doing is wokring in the garden on such a beautiful day. Lounge, hall and stairs in pretty good shape so should be able to clean those really quickly just don 't mention the state of my kitchen
Have a good day!Punky x0 -
My plan for the day:

3. Clean the living room window, it's summer time so let that light through!
4. [strike]Vacuum, oh you lot love this one, inc sofas, under furniture you can move safely etc and those skirting boards[/strike] done yesterday at 6pm, so i shouldn't need to do again. Will wash the skirting boards
5. [strike]If the sofa needs a wipe do so, check those cushions incase they need a wash [/strike]
6. Move anything that shouldn't be where it is, like that book, or pile of paperwork/magazines get rid of at least two magazines from the pile (still new and in plastic from my subscriptions last year - too busy while pregnant to read)
7. [strike]Water any plants [/strike]
Hall & Stairs
1. Cobwebs - can you see any, get them dusted off
2. [strike]Clear the way, make sure your hall/staris are not a safety/fire hazard, make sure those coats and shoes are tidy[/strike]
3. [strike]Check fire/smoke alarms, make sure they work and if required change battery[/strike]
4. Vacuum throughout inc up the stairs, but take a cloth with you
5. Wipe hand rails on the way back down
Put travel bags away from weekend
Put travel cot/mattress away

[strike]Deal with post[/strike]
Make baby bottles
[strike]Take car for MOT at 11[/strike]
Pick car up it's ready, will go when baby wakes up

I've made MESS!!!! Loads of it too!!
I went upstairs with the camera.. photographed the mini-mountain of ebay stuff to list.. and got all carried away.. emptied my cupboard of stuff never to be worn again AND.. the maternity clothes are being listed too!! the moses basket is going on with the cloth nappies once I have got round to lifting them off the top of the cupboard. I found a top in the maternity bag which will fit me now and isn't maternity.. I did wear it loads when having DD5 though.
Washing hung out.. bed sheets in.. kitchen reasonable, though I need to clear the table again.. every time I do it the children decide it is dinner time and eat something else!
I have filled a wheelie bin too.

Just two of us at home today, so I have had DS3 doing 15 min flying! I set timer and he has done heavy work that I can't manage. He is 50 times happier knowing that he is only doing 15mins of something then having a break.
Thank you so much for giving us living room today as I could not have left it until later in the week it was so bad after the weekend. And like lots of others I had started on kitchen before coming to check so have cleaned cooker (for me that means putting all bits that I can into the dishwasher) and DS3 has swept floors.

Very pleased. All todays tasks done, lounge window cleaned outside, front of house swept.
Been down the bottom of the garden and [STRIKE]hacked[/STRIKE] carefully trimmed fruit tree branches overhanging into nextdoors garden - before comments made:rolleyes: . Did some more clearing and re-weeding while down there, kids had good time helping and trying to climb trees.
Kitchen currently looks like a snow storm as DD2 is practicing her cutting skills so bits of paper EVERYWHERE:eek: Still she is chatting away to herself happily.
Just gonna pop BM on to make dough for bread rolls to go with tea tonight, might have a cuppa too. Wish we had got round to making those biscuits now but as the weather forecast looks like going down hill as week goes on thought we would make the most of the sunshine:D
Quite please with all that has been done today. Change of plan for tea and now is pasta based so did not have to go to veg shop;)
Just a a mooch on ebay, want to get some garden stuff for girls as we sold all there stuff when house move no 1 was meant to be happening so now the weather is nice there is nothing in the garden for them to play on. Are trampolines easy to put up and then hopefully take down again once we sell and re-erect???
Sounds like everyone else is having a busy day, must the the spring air:D0 -
25 things now listed on ebay.. mainly maternity stuff mind.. but I'm getting there! Need to feed the gremlins now though so having to stop.. it has suddenly got chilly out there too.. need to go close some windows!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

I listed a whole load of stuff for sale online at lunchtime today. So far I've managed to sell 6 things, awaiting payment on 3 of them. What doesn't get sold I am going to have a go at selling on ebay (never sold on there)
My BF keeps joking that if he's not careful I'm going to end up selling or freecycling him. Personally I don't see the point of keeping a suitcase, a bin bag and 2 underbed storage things full of clothes that even if I could fit into them I'm not going to wear again.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
Stairs and hallway sorted.
Just the furniture and floor to hoover in the lounge and I'm all done for today.
Had a very pleasant hour wandering around Salisbury today after leaving DS with his grandparents.
I bought 100 record cards as I want to transfer all my recipes on to these.
I've tried keeping a recipe book with copied out recipes in and folders with ones printed from the internet, but they've never been quite right. So this is my new attempt at being organised....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Okay so there was a slight deviation from my original plan :rotfl:
- Dailies
- [STRIKE]Kitchen S&S[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Evening meal - Spaghetti Carbonara (Homemade this time!)[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Laundry x 2[/STRIKE] towels/cloths will have to wait until tomorrow.
- [STRIKE]Mail[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Paint Kitchen ceiling & touch up any other white emulsion[/STRIKE]
- Rehome ebay pile
- Rearrange furniture in the livingroom
- Miscellaneous other items which spring to mind as I go along :rotfl:
- Bedrooms
- Hoover
- Dust
- [STRIKE]Clean outside windows.[/STRIKE]
- Livingroom
- Hoover
- Dust
- Mop
- Kitchen
- Hoover
- Mop
- Bedrooms
I guess I will be wearing a sleeved top to try and hide the worst on my shoulders, and then tinted moisturiser to tone down my face as well
Lots still to do, but I really need another drink. Doesn't help that the carbonara I made had very salty bacon in it! Not nice after taste at all.
Off to get a drink and then I better check my hotmail before attacking the furniture in the livingroom...don't worry I'll be careful of my back:wave:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - Dailies
