  • and that recipe in particular - it is soooooooooooooooooo bad. I think I have regained the dress size Ilost in my first week of flying in less than a day. Just in case you are tempted, I used frozen rasps instead of jam, which was a big mistake as it makes it taste just that little bit healthier. So very very wrong on every level.

I'm also way behind on the kitchen......
    Is it home time yet?

Sofa question - wipe if any small marks, when I had a cloth one I used a damp cloth to wipe any little marks, also some have leather (like me) and that's how I clean mine. Can vacuum if you wish of course. Lists aren't set as rigid, just a kick start then people of course need to adapt to what works for them.

Thank you, all is now clear! I don't have kids or eat in the living room so it hadn't occurred to me about stains/marks on the sofa, and I hadn't thought of a leather sofa either!! I might even vacuum under the seat cushions this week... ;)

Just checking in while I have an early lunch (my stomach was growling way too much!) and DD was asking for a teabreak :rotfl:

So far I've sprayed the bathroom (but not cleaned it :o ), made the beds and tidied the bedrooms up, renewed my library books online, shifted some money around (I'm now only going to be £11 overdrawn instead of £198 :D ), checked email and finished all my computer stuff except for shopping lists. :D

Just had a leaflet through the door to say there is going to be a community skip in the road tomorrow :D So our old ironing board can be taken down and I'm going to have a look about to see if there is anything else "big" that I need to get rid of. :j

Off to check pigsback & Daily threads then on with cleaning. Just need to wash the lunch dishes and then the kitchen will almost be done!

    Good morning Twirlies and Twinklies!!

Well.. my posts are apparently way too boring for hubby to keep reading so my alter-ego is obviously doing a splendid job! *wink*

Today list consists of very little.. I have a nasty sore throat.. yes that interferes with my moving.. and my nasty evil husband brought my some delumptious thorntons vanilla fudge laced with razor blades and glass!! sometimes he is so thoughtless!! I also have just figured out why the top of my leg is hurting.. I helped carry the old DW into the middle room on sunday.. there I was hyperchondriac-ing DVT and had almost convinced myself I was dead before I figured out that's all it is..

Anyway.. the washing is up to date.. just a load or two to put away.

I have another 20+ things to list on ebay.. I'll get that done first.. anything else that gets done will be nothing short of a miracle!
