    Morning everyone.

Congrats on getting so much done ShirleyPark and also knocking a month off your debt free date.
Hope your boys and you can still enjoy the hols just as much Happyathome.

For me I won't be able to do an awful lot until later when DS has been taken to his grandparents and DH is at work and I have the place to myself.

This morning we are planning another trip to the tip.
Will help DS with one piece of homework.
    Ironing too at some point.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Sofa question - wipe if any small marks, when I had a cloth one I used a damp cloth to wipe any little marks, also some have leather (like me) and that's how I clean mine. Can vacuum if you wish of course. Lists aren't set as rigid, just a kick start then people of course need to adapt to what works for them.

Speaking of kick start, DPs just left with dogs and kids so I best get the vacuuming part done before they get back :D
One day I might be more organised...........

    Gosh, everyone's busy this morning.

The livingroom is clean, 3 of the 4 curtains are drying on the line - glad I hedged my bets it's lovely and sunny here, washed the big livingroom rug in the bath and that's hanging over the garden bench. I'm sure it's dry clean only but it doesn't seem to mind a quick bath now and again! Took the Dyson to bits for a filter clean - yuk! where does it all come from?!

Being trying to keep busy to distract myself. I'm not allowed to eat before my ultrasound and that's not 'til gone 11.. sooo famished..I'll find a little cake shop when I'm done and stuff my face as a treat for a productive morning if I don't just faint with hunger on their doorstep..

Rumbling off now, enjoy the sunshine those doing outside jobs.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
On here for a break while I have a drink (trying to increase the number of drinks I have instead of snacking... must loose this weight!). DD is still glued to the sofa and TV :o She's watched Popeye, Cabbagepatch Kids and is now watching Mickey Mouse in "The Three Musketeres" until W.I.T.C.H. comes on. She's asked to help me clean the livingroom, but seeing as I want to re-arrange some furniture we'll have to wait and see

I've got some jobs done while DD is entertained (no she won't spend the whole holidays infront of the TV honestly! :o ) and after lunch I'm going to paint the kitchen ceiling (touch up a patch in the livingroom & bathroom & DD's room where wallpaint has got on the ceiling) and then tackle the bedrooms (including cleaning the outside of the windows). None of which should take long on their own, but all together should keep me busy until tea time :rotfl:

    list time :
    • Dailies
      • [STRIKE]Beds[/STRIKE]
      • [STRIKE]Bathroom S&S[/STRIKE]
      • [STRIKE]Dishes[/STRIKE]
      • Kitchen S&S
      • Evening meal - Spaghetti Carbonara (Homemade this time!)
      • Laundry x 3
      • Mail
    • Paint Kitchen ceiling & touch up any other white emulsion
    • Rehome ebay pile
    • Rearrange furniture in the livingroom
    • Miscellaneous other items which spring to mind as I go along :rotfl:
      • Bedrooms
        • Hoover
        • Dust
        • Clean outside windows.
      • Livingroom
        • Hoover
        • Dust
        • Mop
      • Kitchen
        • Hoover
        • Mop
I think I'm just going to create a weeks list next time I sit down here. It will probably be easier as I have so many jobs going around my head  Right, off to take the hoover upstairs and tackle DD's & the bathroom windows before the sun moves around and shines on them
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Lil_me sorry no don't fancy doing your living room.

I've come to the conclusion that I want to spend my evenings doing something other than housework, so the more I get done before I go to work the better. Of course, I can't really hoover or do the bedroom before work otherwise I'll wake the BF up and he won't be happy.

Didn't see list until about 10 minutes ago so I've done the bathroom and kitchen today! Never mind, I'll just swap round later in the week.

One load of washing done and most of it dry already, just two things left out there.

I also spent an hour in the garden moving a plant and emptying a container that's well past it's sell-by date. That can go to the tip when we go with the old shed (assuming that gets taken down next weekend). Can't do too much at one time or my back will suffer and I've got to go to work tonight. I'll do some more tomorrow.

It's such a beautiful day out there today.
