Most was found in the clearance toy section at the end of an isle, all had the wrong SEL's and had to scan stuff to get actual prices. Maybe they had restocked since you went in. Managed to get various Zhu Fari play sets, Zoobles play sets, play doh sets, Disney Fairies bag and jewellery sets, Peppa Pig set, My littlest pet shop set, make your own sticker set and some Disney princess puzzles. Can't remember what my mum got but I know she got some baby toys which were reduced.

Was only looking for my daughter but there was lots more toys for boys including Nerf guns, Dr. who sets, Thomas the tank megabloks, halo figures, army figures amongst other things.

I did see the Zhu Zhu stuff and play doh i think but I think they must have put more things out. My DS has all the Dr Who lego stuff they had out, really wanted the Bump and go cybermat which had typically all gone grr. Glad you managed to get lots of goodies. xx

Thanks Durham05. Bought her one from Smyths just incase but paid 20 quid. If I can get this one too would be great.

Did pop back into Tesco's hartlepool as I was passing and got a playdoh sweet set for 2.25 and another peppa pig car with some orange character for 2.50.

I managed to get quite a few things in Glasgow today. Pretty much everything has been listed on here apart from Fisher Price projector (sorry if I have missed it). It was £7. I do have a picture of everything I got but not sure how to attach it?

Also got 4 different Need For Speed packs at £2.75 each and a small Stinky The Garbage Truck for £2.50.

All in all very pleased with my lot :j

Could you tell me which Glasgow store you managed to get all of your bargains in please? I tried a few things from here in the dalmarnock store but they were all full price on Saturday! Could you give me an idea of things you got so I can look out for them, thanks

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would let yous know that the kids cars 2 bike helmets are also heavily reduced. Went in today to get my two boys a helmet each and found these. On sel it was reduced from £17 something down to £8.50 but when going through checkout, they went through as £4.25 each. Bargain :j:j not sure if this will be the case in all stores though

I went to Silverburn and here is rough guide (with rough price) to what I got:


Disney Fairies Bags - think they had 3 diff kinds £2
Car Transporter - £4
Need For Speed Sets (about 5 diff kinds) - £2.50
Fireman Sam Magnetic Drawing Board - £5
Bob Builder Construction Set - £7
Transformers Kreo Ratchet - was priced at almost £30 I think but paid £4.50
Transformers Kreo Prowl - £4.50
They also had smaller Kreo Transformers reduced but didn't buy any of them.
Matchbox Trucks - £1.50
Carousel Magnetic Animals - £2 (I think)
Zhu Zhu Puppies Vet Set - £5
Small Stinky Garbage Truck - £2.50
Fisher Price Projector - £7
Helicopter £5.50
Cars 2 car - £2.50
Wee turtle toy for baby - £2
Matchbox garage - £2 something

They had quite a lot of other stuff - nerf guns, water pistols, dolls. Everything was at the shelves that run along bottom of toy aisles and some was in the bug middle bit with clearance bbq;s etc.

Also saw some riding boots for £4 if that helps anyone.

Nothing was marked at right price but I took two massive loads of stuff to desk at back of shop and girl scanned it all no probs.

Found loads of the lego mentioned on here but it wasn't reduced and neither was the barbie beach house.

i've been to my local tescos (hengrove and brislington...bristol) and had no luck with the sale. got a wasjig puzzle £1, and a kreo set

but can anyone comfirm that the 'LEGO DINO SETS 5884 and 5883' are reduce to £4.50 ish (really want these)
as i've been to both stores fri,sat,sun and this morning and ones full price £18 and one is on sale but its £22 down to £18, i did ask till staff to check the price

At Blackpool te Lego dinosaur is not reduced or the cars bus. Had both checked yesterday x

Hmm, the Lego Fireplane seems to be a bit of an enigma. I was the only member of the public buying it - the other boxes were being snapped up sharpish by members of staff... odd.
I hope people are lucky and find them for sale somewhere.
Off thread a bit, but this forum is great - I've saved loads already from tips and hints on here and I'm still very new! Thank you!

I went to the main Crawley one today and everything I could find on this thread scanned at full price apart from a Barbie set with pandas which was half what it said on shelf but at £15 still thought it was expensive.

I did really well in this store in the last mad sale but maybe they've sussed it now
