    Disappointing visit :(.

It seems so random when and where people are finding items (like last year!),

I was so looking forward to the Lego people were reporting ... I mean the kids would be so happy to receive ... :)

I asked my OH to stop in on his way home from work first thing this morning in the hope that the shelves would have been stocked over night! He came away with nothing! The only thing on the clearance aisle was the fisher price phone which we already have. He asked for some of the lego to be scanned (no scanner) but all came up full price!:o
  • Been into Stockton Extra, Hartlepool and Billingham and Sylvanian wedding set is scanning full price. Also looking for the Daisy Cottage but can only find this in Stockton extra and its still full price. Really annoying how things are scanning different prices.

For those in the area looking for the lego shuttle and boat there were some reduced in billingham.

Also managed to get some Halo wars lego sets reduced to 2.25, some halo wars fighting figures for 2.25, playdoh dentist 3.50, some game with flying lillies by elefun for 3.50, peppa pig figure and car 2.25. Picked up some other bits too but all what other people have posted.

Is it likely that the sylvanian figures could still be reduced?

  • Slightly off topic but does anyone know if the sainsburys toy sale will be in October i heard someone mention it also is it any better/organised than the Tesco one :)
  • When you are in there looking for toys it's worth having a look at the sports stuff.
I found some more clearance things there - things for cyclists ie lights, saddle, drinking bottle also boxes of goal posts, golfing gifts and a folding sack barrow.
I can't remember all the prices but the sack barrows were about £12

Sainsburys usually do their half price toy sale in the October half term week. They have done for the past few years anyway so i'm hoping it's the same this year! I rely on it to get most of the kids xmas presents. ;)

It's not advertised beforehand though. People on here usually find out by asking staff or by knowing people who work there. So keep an eye out on here for info.

Would this be in store only?
