I went to the main Crawley one today and everything I could find on this thread scanned at full price apart from a Barbie set with pandas which was half what it said on shelf but at £15 still thought it was expensive.

I did really well in this store in the last mad sale but maybe they've sussed it now

Did you look in the seasonal aisle downstairs at all at Three Bridges? I got quite a bit from there on Sat eve but nothing much upstairs.

Seasonal being the christmas aisle? I couldn't find any toys downstairs - found some last year underneath escalator thingy and on that first aisle. I did the 2 clearance aisles upstairs today and looked downstairs. I did find alot of things people were talking about but it all scanned full price.
  • Hi went over to Br1stol stores today got some polly pocket sets £2.50 each and 2 Daisy cottage at £6 odd, also a moon dough and some playdough, nothing at all in home plus cribs c@useway or Brislington :(
    Oh no, not you again!:money:
  • Checked LeaValley store today. They only had a small "clearance" section of toys. Not really much, but I got some zhu zhu hamsters for £2.75 each and the moon dough fun pack for £3 something.
  • Took a chance and went back to the 2 stores (Nottm T*p Valley and B*ullwell) that I already visited last week and did get a few more bits so I'm pleased I went, I got

    Cars 2 helmet £4.25
Mini car fold out sets £1.25
    Playdoh tool 61p
    Playdoh pop maker £2.25
    Lego city alarm game £3.50
    Lego star wars game £6
Lego superheros superman v's power armour lex £4.75
    Lego Prisoner transporter £3.25
    Lego fire police helicopter £2.25

I got the only one of everything apart from the lego games where there were few. These were marked at the sale price, the lego helicopter was with the other lego and wasn't marked down but I scanned one of everything off the lego shelf and found it to be chepaer (nothing else was) but everything else I just found in random places with no sel so scanned.

Really helped to see what others had bought so that I knew some things to look out for and scan, thanks everyone, that's friends kids birthdays for this month sorted and a couple of bits to put away for mine for xmas.

Anyone local thinking of going to either of these stores, T*p Valley has hardly anything, they had a couple of the lego city alarm game left. B*llwell has the lego star wars game, a shark game reduced from about £20 to £4.75, Zhu Zhu zebras and elephants for £2,75 and some of the zhu zhu arena type things at £4 something, these were in short supply so probably be gone today. So not really worth petrol, hope that helps someone
  • Hi was in C0atbridge Extra and they didn't have anything really, trouble is with this store is they have no price checker :-(

I did manage to get though:

Little Charlie Bear - Up Up and Away £6 (still online for £15.99 item no. 211-1241)

Raa Raa Figure Pack with 3 figures £1.75 (still online for £7.97 item no. 215-1003)

adding to the christmas stuff in loft for my little boy.

Yes was downstairs. One end was the start of Christmas stock i.e. sweets etc and the other end was school uniform on one side and about toys that were reduced. There was also some jubilee/olympic bits there. Was about 4 rows in on the end nearest the tills.

I've just been in there this avo and still quite a good selection.
    Rastamouse toys
    Some JCB diggers
    Lots of Zhu Zhu bits
    Princess tiaras etc
    Moon dough
    Avengers stuff
Nerf guns and some other guns
A couple of cars2 toys but they were disappearing fast
    Some playdough bits
    Can't remember what else
    Hope that helps x

  • I've picked up quite a few bits in Hatfield, Stevenage and Letchworth. For those who cannot find things try Sainsburys as some of the same toys that have been reduced in Tesco have been reduced to the same price in Sainsburys.

I was after the Charlie Bear bits but none in Tesco so got them in Sainsburys

    Charlie Bear Bedroom set £2.25
    Charlie Bear spinning game £2.25
    Talking Charlie Bear £3.75.

Also they have Littlest Petshop reductions, Barbie, RaRa, Thomas and 25% off some Lego sets.

According to my local Tesco the only reductions are on toys that are being discontinued. Just my luck that the Octonauts aren't being discontinued in my local
