I went to the main Crawley one today and everything I could find on this thread scanned at full price apart from a Barbie set with pandas which was half what it said on shelf but at £15 still thought it was expensive.
I did really well in this store in the last mad sale but maybe they've sussed it now
It was pretty much ransacked on the first day, along with horsham I managed to get some lovely items but there were a lot of mse'rs at crawley. They still have a few bits on the end of the seasonal aisle downstairs but the things I was interested in like the ben and holly mini sets had been opened and the characters taken out, the charlie bear plane - the box was ripped etc. Seems to be alot of us that hit that store horsham and gatwick are usually much better in terms of stock availabilityComping wishlist for 2017

been to the gatwick store this afternoon, not much in there, have been in there for the last few days... did get 2 kreo sets there but they have all gone now, was a bit disappointing really, was really gutted because on the first day of the sale, when toys were still being marked down, the lego fire plane was on the shelf (hadnt been reduced) rushed back to gatwick when I realised it was reduced, but they had all gone
so went to crawley who had them but got it price checked & it wasnt in the offer....:( my little boy is well into planes police & fire engines, would have been ideal for him... was very gutted

Just popped into Hatfield Extra and they have cleared the shelves of the reduced toys. The staff were taking everything off the shelves and packing the reduced items into packing trolleys. I asked whether they were going to be put in another section and was told that they were going out the back and would no longer be sold. The shelves were being cleared for new Christmas stock. So, they could be doing this in other stores over the next few days.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'
Proud Mummy to two gorgeous miracles.:j0 -
I have just been to my local store in Northern Ireland and I got the small police helicopter for £2.25 but the SEL said £9.97, looked for the fire plane as they did have them last week but there were none on the shelves.
Checked the prices of lots of the other lego but nothing else reduced.
The packets of HM forces lego figures were also reduced from £1.99 to 49p as as the Dr Who ones.Every sixty seconds you spend angry, upset or mad, is a full minute of happiness you'll never get back..:p

Just out of interest when people are saying scanning things is this with scanners you walk around with? If so where do you find them are they near the trolleys or do you have to ask for one at customer services?0

In my store there are no scanners so I just go up to customer services (sometimes with arm loads) and they have always been happy to scan and tell me the price.
Sometimes they are shocked to see how cheap some things scan at!!!Every sixty seconds you spend angry, upset or mad, is a full minute of happiness you'll never get back..:p

I went to the Reading, napier rd, store today and there were a few things in the main toy aisle with yellow stickers I got
Ben 10 Revolution Ultimatrix thingy 3.50
Disney Fairy handbags 2.00
Playdoh tools 61p
Felt Picture set (3 designs) 2.00
Disney Princess snow white wig 1.00
Disney Princess tiara's 1.75
All in all there were a few things but not an amazing selection, by the time I popped back after doing the shopping (around 10.30am) lots of things were cleared out so they must be restocking shelves. Didnt do my research on what lego to scan tho which is a bummer.0 -

Ours are attached to support pillars around the store. They look like a dark grey plastic box with a couple of glass panels. One to scan the items and one to show you the price.
A dead give away is that you'll see a pile of odd items left on the shelves near one. People don't always put things they don't want, back.0 -
Chesterfield Extra had 'Pop goes Froggio' Game - £3.50
This was in the toy aisle, on a VERY high shelf with a yellow sel of £3.50. This was an end aisle and the shelf was above head height (and I am quite tall!)
Hope this helps someoneBusy working Mum of 3

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0
