Whereabouts was this. I'm looking for the doll. My local tescos didn't have it. If your store isn't to far I might be worth me going there

I went to a Tesco home store today and found loads of the stuff been mentioned, all sels were full price so got sa to scan, all full price, told her I had got this stuff massively reduced this week at other local T's (a few bits I had actually got) so how come it was full price there and she said all stores are different, some want to clear stuff and some don't. Very odd, wonder if it's just cos it's a big store with loads more space for toys so they don't need to clear out so much to make room for xmas?

Such a shame as they had all the lego stuff that has been mentioned and could have done with some for xmas gifts

It is really strange I bought some items from one tesco extra in cov then the one the other side of the city didn't have the items reduced at all. So things that were on sale in both stores had different reduced prices also. :(

It's a 30 mile return journey to my nearest Tesco's and I am recovering from an illness where the cure seems far worse than ailment ! This week is a good week for me to sally out for bargains energy wise (couldn't do it last week) - I have a 10 day window. I have been monitoring the thread but haven't seen anything for York (Clifton Moor or Askham are both reachable for me), Seacroft Extra Leeds et al. if any one has any information re bargains or lack of them at these stores I would appreciate it. Thanks:cool:
  • SA told me in Tesco Sh*ffield that there will be another toy sale on Wednesday 3rd October to make way for Xmas stock. He said that several big Lego sets will be dramatically reduced. Well worth waiting if buying for Xmas. :T:T:T
  • Ohhh how exciting, have marked my diary for that! Hope my tescos will have some bargains:) thanx for the tip! X
