chance of more bargain toys tomorrow?
while at tesco yesterday i asked for a price check on a puzzle piled high on a very high shelf - the member of staff i spoke to got one down, scanned it and said that she wasn't suppoed to tell me but it'll be dropping to less than half the current price on the 1st of october and that there's probably lots of other toys dropping in price then too!

I was told the 3rd October as Wednesday is when they change store offers deals on the store systems....hmmm
  • When you go to the web site it says biggest ever toy sale and yet there are probably 80 items that come up and the discount is £5/£3 no much of a sale at the moment! Certainly not 'biggest sale ever' there has to be more to come?

I think this might only be in store.

I was in my local one this morning and there main promotional aisle has all the signage up for the BIGGEST EVER TOY SALE and the staff were running round changing tickets. There was quite a bit out as well... peppa Pig, Bob the builder, a sylvanian cottage, Hello Kitty etc

Hi, would any one be able to keep an eye out for postman pat toys in the sale please? LO loves postman pat however my local one doesn't seem to stock it, but if there were signs that other ones had them then I would be able to try other stores further away. Thanks.

What's your local? I'm in Lincolnshire so I'll keep my eyes out round here (not that I go in very often any more!)

    Hi,
Just been to my local Tesco Homeplus. There are toys piled high in the sale but nothing that I thought was a massive bargain unless you are looking to save on a specific item that you are going to buy anyway. Reductions are nothing like the clearance weekend sale around this time last year. I came home without buying anything.
