NEW Tesco Toy Sale Started

Hi all
I've just returned from Pitsea store. No reduced price talking Charlie bear or Lego though . But I did get quite a few bits
Fairy wings 69p
Disney princess tiaras - lots of different colours etc £1.25
Fab effects kit (fabric crafty thing) £5 two different varieties
Disney princess bag and accessories set. £2
Ben10 soft toys. They had Ben, echo echo and swampfire £1.50 each
Large bubble wands £1.25 vaRious colours
Dr who sets (like Lego forgot brand) £2.25.
Transformer mirage and jazz (think it was called kreo .) £2.25
Tardis goo pot 1.50
Hex bug nano 1.75
Ben and holly set (like prolly pocket) 2.25
Wind up storm trooper 99p
Pink fairy clock £3
Octanauts sets 2.25

might have a look but tesco on saturday is a bit busy

In the shops I was in they have just been with the other toys.

Picked up a few items after seeing this thread yesterday, majority of it still marked as full price on the shelves. Went today expecting to see clearance lines but nothing, even the items that were marked in the sale yesterday now had full price labels yet when I checked a couple of things they were still at the sale price. None of the big things like Lego has been reduced at all. Asked a member of staff where the sale was and he denied all knowledge of there being one in any store, this despite being told previously by two members of staff a big clearance was coming at the weekend. I'm sure my Tesco doesn't like to sell things as during the last major sale nothing was marked down it was a case of price checking everything at the till.

In my Tesco they have a seasonal aisle where there are some toys marked down but then in the toy isle the same ones are listed full price but scan at the clearance price. Seems they can't be bothered to move all the toys to the clearance aisle. So it's worth checking.

I went to Newton aycliffe yesterday & bought:
Lego Creationary £6 down from £24.97
Playmobil 123 Noah's Ark £4.99 from £21.97
Barbie beach house £12 from £49.97

I went back today to get the playmobil zoo which was £10 yesterday and it was back to £35 and all the other things I bought yesterday were back to full price. Strange.

Thanks to OP I picked up a few bits yesterday. I picked up the Cars 2 London Bus at £4.95. This just had a normal white SEL not a reduced one but I knew that they are normally £19.95 as have been eyeing it up for a while. Still a few left in Stirling. Hope this helps someone.
