Just to go OT for a bit...but how do you know how many hours someone has been on MSE for?
If you check how many post`s have been made for a particular day and there is one on average every 10-15 minutes, it sort of gives you a good idea:drool:  Timberlake Hussy Clique Member No 3  :drool:0 -
This is good stuff Phil, please see my comments in blue.studentphil wrote: »learned
1 If I take my work in small bits I can get there. Then this is what you must do. Break down your assignment and exam studying into workable chunks. A lot of people can only work effectively for a short time-span (me included). But if this is how you work well, then this will help you through.
2 I have achieved a lot so far at uni and I just have to do this last bit. Then there's no reason why you can't finish it. Remember, it's only another two months left of work and then you'll be free to do what you want! :T
3 that I can get a job regarless of my subject. This is very true. I'm not sure why you're so down on philosophy. It will have taught you a lot of transferable skills that you are probably not aware you have. You will also be able to look at problems from angles that other people might be unable to see. This is where you have an 'edge'. Just thank yourself you didn't choose media studies!
change Yes, you must do this but only you can set the wheels in motion.
try to stop worrying. If you try to think positive thoughts even if you don't believe them at first, you will end up feeling postive anyway (this is known to be true)
try to think positively about myself and my skills.ditto
So you do know what you need to do...and you can do it.0 -
Very soon you won`t have to fear failure because it will of happened. The more you run the more you moan the more you moan the more you ignore advice the more you ignore advice the greater the chance of failiure. Who are you going to blame when you get a third Phil, Everyone on mse who has taken time to try and help
You have a few weeks left (supposedly) Whats the next set of threads going to be about
The sooner you get off of your high horse and take note of what happens outside your bedroom the more you will be able to adjust to "REAL LIFE" It takes being knocked down for most people to smell the roses, pick themselves up and look at things in another light. I fear that unless you understand that other people in this world matter as much as you, things for you will never change.
If I fail I only have myself to blame for picking this degree.
I know that the real world is not great I do know that. I have dealt with many knock downs such as poor essay marks and bad exam marks right from the first year and even though it has broken my heart I have still got up and survived it to this point.:beer:0 -
