Exactly what I did at a recent wedding. But my feet were so sore even the pumps I had rubbed and I'd have killed for a pair of slippers (or flip flops!!)0 -

Some people will take anything thats free!! Personally I wouldnt wear flipflops at a wedding, especially since I would have made a lot of effort with my shoes and outfit and flip flops would ruin the look. I think favours in general are a bit pointless.0 -
Probably more useful than sugared almonds!
I still have many of the favours from family and friend's weddings. They are a lovely little keepsake that convey a great deal more than plastic flipflops.0 -

What size hand bag to you take a wedding?? I for one can barely fit a lipstick in mine let alone a pair of shoes!
As it is, its just a nice gesture. More to show that the bride and groom care about there guests comfort!
We had a weekend wedding and we provided little gift boxes of toiletries that were personalised with our names and wedding dates. Its lovely when we visit our friends homes and they have them on display in there bathrooms. :j0 -
Here is an idea why not wear shoes that are comfortable?0

I rather like sugared almonds, and would prefer a pretty little bag of almonds over some impractical, plastic footwear.

Oh I'd definitely rather have almonds than flip-flops! Just thought that paracetamol would be more useful than either0 -
Isn't it unlucky to have shoes on tables?0
