Thank you Fortune
I'm so fed up with public transport now, this is going to like a breath of fresh air

Had a chat with a friend about my problems with writing my book - its a terrible cliche but I've got writer's block
every time I sit down to write, nothing comes out, or I delete the garbage that comes out, and after half an hour of utter frustration I give up.
New plan - set writing time, and keep writing till either x hours have gone by or x words have been written, even if they are garbage. I need to get through this barrier!

I'm giving my first Skype lesson today! 10am GMT which is great cos I cant fit any more students in after school uk time!
I still don't know how well this is going to work, and I'm certainly not going to advertise that I'm doing this as I really do want this to be an exception rather than a rule, but I'm hopeful and so are the family.
Although I doubt we'll get much done today after sorting out technical issues

Skype lesson was as I expected - a technical disaster.... There is much work to be done before next week! (and I will be using their family friend's equipment, not my cheap laptop)

I should mention I still feel slightly sick when I think about how much I ave spent this week.
It's scary.
But it's a good thing. And a risk I needed to take to get more work, on top of wanting to take to make my life reasonable again.

No cinema. 2 knackered people.
But we did take the car for a run as my daughter was inconsolable with excitement about having a car at last. So we went to Tesco to buy petrol.
Rain was so bad I gave up on trying to think of somewhere to go, so came home, stalled the swine while trying to park it, oops.
Update: car has just been named "Bessie". Very apt, as all my cars have ended up Messie Bessies within weeks of purchase, and the only person who ever gave a cr*p was my ex, and I'm now single, so hahahahahahahahaha ;p

Work today. Unless I can get hold on a parking voucher, it would cost me somewhere between £10 and £15 to park all day, so despite now having a car I still have to walk/bus/cycle to work!

My daughter was apparently going to look for free/cheap things to do on a Sunday that we can now get to easily
I'll find out what she came up with when I get home from work tonight...
