Bl**dy glad I bought the bunny into the warmth last month. There's no way her little elderly body could have handled this freeze

If work is closed, I stand to lose a lot of money for Feb pay check. I should be able to make up the lessons over half term so won't lose outright, but it'll be late money, and probably not 100% of it
The problems of being self employed for 4 day and zero hours contract for the other two....

Off to work
nice and late as I have a half day today due to students being unable to travel
The money lost isn't a big deal - I should be able to make up the lessons do hopefully won't lose out

Which completely contradicts my previous post!
I must have chilled out about it overnight
No point in fretting anyway, it's not like i can do anything about it.....

Sunday! Day off!
I've been spectacularly lazy so far.... I do like Sundays
Daughter lazed around all day yesterday whilst I was in work so she has homework to do today - which leaves me to fart about all day, get bits of shopping in for the week, and tidy up a little.

We went to prezzo yesterday, courtesy of tesco vouchers and the rest of January ents budget
Daughter is off school again due to snow/conditions at her school. She's doing homework instead, I'm off to do a stupidly long bus journey to pets at home for gerbil food.

It's snowing again! I'm now waiting for an update from the school website so I know whether to send my daughter in or not...
And in other news.... My driving licence arrived yesterdayI've already started looking for a car
happy days
(and considering I spent 3.5 hours on the b****y buses yesterday sourcing food for my daughter's gerbil, I'm now so utterly fed up with cost/time of public transport after 6 years without a car, I think we both deserve one)

Daughter's school still isn't open... She's been off school nearly a week now.
The novelty is starting to wear off.
On the plus side, I'm now car hunting in the eveningsthis is quite good fun
I'm unlikely to be able to have the time to buy one until half term though, unless I see a very local bargain in the meantime.
I'm veering towards a 1L Nissan Micra or Fiesta. Petrol only, manual, with as low a mileage and as clean an engine as possible on my budget.
Even if I saw one tomorrow I wouldn't want to test drive anything in this weather, so it for now it really is just looking.
Oh, and tax credits went into my bank account this morning. Not usually worthy of mentioning except I had completely forgotten about them being due so it was a lovely surprise!

I think I've found a good little car
I can't test drive it till the snow clears, but it looks pretty good

I've bought a car. My SOA and DFD have gone off together to have a little cry.
