And, thanks to the various geeks on this site, I discovered I dont need to wait for my nationwide card reader to login to my flexaccount - card readers are all identical, I can use my Natwest one. And it really did work!
flexaccount is hilariously empty, but hey, its nice to look at....

oh, and I nearly gave myself a coronary looking at this months expenditure spreadsheet - income only £100 more than expenses. Until I read further down and remembered I'd added in £1000 transfer to the Nationwide account to cover next month's bills (well, some of them anyway).
Panic over

It's lovely having a higher credit limit on a 0% card. It's lovely knowing that every £1 I spend on the credit card is £1 less on the overdraft.
Of course this only works when I remember my PIN
Twit.
PIN reminder duly requested.
Toodles

Preparing for a day of eBaying today. Daughter is still poorly with a cold and a nasty cough (she has asthma so I'm keeping a close eye on this, doctors if it doesn't improve)
And I'll cook the toad in the hole that nobody could be bothered to cook (me), wait for (daughter), or eat (both) yesterday. (frozen pizza for daughter and frozen soup for me instead...)

Dammit. I tried to order a pair of trousers for my daughter from Next (delivered to store to save their £3.99 fee) but apparently there is no way to order without opening a Next charge account. I paid on my own card, I'm not about to start t****ng about with store cards/accounts, but I'm irritated that there seemed to be no way round their default setting of must have an account at 25% APR.

I have a next account, I order what I need pay off in full when the statement comes just so I have an "active" credit account. Also it comes in handy when like yesterday we had a last minute invite to my nephews party and I got him P'js as a gift from next because I have about 80p to my name until Fridayx

Oh that does sound handy, I can see why you do that
I don't really need the credit now, to be honest, not since I sorted out my credit cards and got the 0% deals. I think that's why it p****d me off, they gave me something I don't want and don't need and I had no way of opting out of.
Horses for courses, I guess!

Morning will be spent at the GP, daughter has been quite sick with this cold over the weekend, and it now looks like she has a chest infection and ear infection, poor thing
I've got work later, and even though I've got that lost student, I've still got enough private teaching to keep things ticking over this week
