Bridesmaid ones start at £55. Sale is on at the minute.
I guess it all depends what you're after. People use TK MAXX and ASDA for real bargains, or ebay (search this thread for recommended sellers). Good luck!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Fritha they are gorgeous! I like the plain ones myself but then I think it's good if the little ones' dresses pick out elements of the 'grown ups' too!
what about.... bargain price and so cute!!...

I love that one! It very similar to the one my little flowergirl/birdesmaid is going to be wearing (except ours is lilac, she matches me I don't have any proper bridesmaids I really couldn't be bothered!)
How did you find it? I looked on ebay and didn't find that one! Good work that woman!Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

Wonder if you can help please....
We're looking at getting married in a church but we're not sure of the costs - could I ask what you're paying pls? Sorry if this is rude!
Also - who will be driving the Jag on the day? My GF's dad has a Jag but obviously doesn't want to be driving it on the day!
Hello! I guess it depends on the church.... the one we're getting married in is about £200 for the ceremony, and then it's £30ish for heating £10 for bells, £10 for the verger. Then you have extra costs for the choir/organist. If it's a local choir then they will come cheap (I know - I sang in a church choir growing up and did hundreds of weddings) but I personally think a good choir/local group is worth investing in. Similarly, the local church organist may charge around £50, but that will hike up to hundreds in London.
Bear in mind that these costs will all be much more in London and the cities. This is a local country(ish) church I'm talking about.
And actually, I'm pretty sure my bf's dad IS going to drive the jag! I think he'll enjoy it. Or maybe I'm assuming too much.... hmmm better look into that!0 -
what did you decide on jiblets?0

Re scented candles, they were lit at our daughters wedding reception at gretna green on new years eve. We did not light them but the place we were staying was plunged into darkness for about 9 hours. The cause was because of very bad weather, lots of parts of Scotland were without power. Anyway to cut a long story short I had a really bad asthma attack and several other people had sore throats and headaches due to smell of candles.:hello:What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -

it's green and she does have the right size if you ask her. It's not really my cup of tea but it might be yours and it's the only green one I could find!
I've ordered this dress in the end - but as it's now bought I'm not sure how to show it! It was the perfect colour, really pretty and even though it was a touch over budget, the littlun's grandparent stepped in so that she could have the perfect dress. Thanks ever so much for everyone's help. I was completely done - I'd had had enough! You lot made it so much easier!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0
