Oh totally forgot to mention :-) My friend studies fashion design in London and is making my dress and oh's suit... They both look amazing and kind of match too :j We only have to pay for fabrics, but I will pay her for her work anyway because she is doing such a fantastic job...
She found an old vintage dress and is basically working on it, adding lots of things and fitting it to my size. Looks so great...0 -

Good question - has anybody replied? If so, how do I find the answers?
Thanks0 -

What or where is Home Bargains? Is it s shop or a website? I live in North Yorkshire.
Thank you for your help.

Ive been engaged now for about 3 weeks. OH proposed whilst we were on holiday in the carribean watching a stunning sunset.Very romantic.
Anyway been quick of the mark and have set a date 16th June 2007 We have also booked a local castle for our ceremony. Ive always wanted a castle!
Just visiting venues now for our reception- Sit down meal for approx 50/60 people. Things are looking expensive so im sure ill become a regular on this thread during the next year!

This is costing £2800. We're planning on imediate family only. Then having a big party/reception a few days later.
But i don't know if Gretna is a little 'tacky'???
i know what you mean, but its lovely best advice is to visit, i felt the world famous blacksmiths was too public and tourist attraction even on a quiet day so we opted for gretna hall blacksmiths shop it is a bit more private and set in hotel grounds
