Over a year since I last posted
Mortgage news, we are on target to hit £58K by the end of the year, which was the goal (mine anyway) for this year. Playing with some figures could possible get rid of it in another 4 years
Interest rate dropping, change our contractual monthly payment from £825 to £384 due to all the OP's. Standing order now set up to put the payment back up to £825/month but nice to know we have a buffer if required.
En-suite was ripped out and then put back together, this then made our bedroom look awful, so that was ripped out in March of this year, currently have some debt due to the new bedroom but this is on 0% finance for the next 30 months, tempted to save up and pay it off, so we have no debt.
Have also had time to have a long weekend in Euro Disney, an amazing AI holiday in the Dominican Republic and are currently planning a long weekend in London (think this will cost more than a week away abroad) with a trip to the theater to see Wicked.
Have become addicted to My Fitness Pal and have managed to lose just over 3 stone since January, so I'm currently shopping out of the wardrobe that was full of clothes that didn't fit me, very MSE
So all in all a good year so farMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Money news - have chucked £94.77 at the mortgage this week so will hit target for the end of the year (unless I increase the goal)
Lost 1 lb this week so back to pre holiday weight, not sure I'll lose much more this year with it being Christmas and the trip to London (unless we walk miles and miles) but would be happy with another 3-4 lbs by the end of the year.
Started Christmas shopping, mainly for myself as I have ordered a new coatbut a few things ordered and some ideas of what to get for other people, but as BF is in bed/on PS4 with man flu (again) think this will get left till next weekend.
Bonus of man flu is I'm getting lots of peace and get to watch what I want on TV, downside as I'm in the house I seem to be doing a lot of cleaning, currently trapped in living room as I have just steam cleaned the hall, kitchen & utility. Should have made a cup of tea first
Also stupidly managed to nearly take the end of my finger off on Monday night fighting with an avocado stone, the stone broke, meaning the knife slipped out and went into my finger. BF checked the knife for no damage as I'm sitting with finger in air trying to stem the bleeding.
Suppose if the floor is dry I might go and do some ironing, make bed, clean en-suite and then make dinner. When the mortgage is gone I'm thinking of getting a cleaner.Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

So Christmas has been and gone
Ours was very chilled as we went to everyone's else's houses so no food to buy or prep to be done. Just needed to fight my dad to get to the sink first to do the dishes
New Year we had friends round to ours, think this night was the tidiest the house has been in a year, so hoping to keep to this standard all this year. Need to start de-cluttering some hot spots (cupboards)
Ended the year with a total weight loss of 3 stone 6lb so will be continuing with losing some more this year (just bought some size 12 trousers :j)
Have already booked this years holiday, so we are off to Costa Rica. I can not wait as I really want to see a sloth.
Have just submitted this quarters form for MFiT-T4 so on target for that, can't believe a year of the challenge has gone already. End of the year goal is to get to below £42KMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
