July OP's total was £344.90 and August is currently sitting at £134.67 which was a round down of the joint account and my current account

Spent Friday night playing with god-daughter to be and Saturday morning as we stayed over after having a lovely meal/drinks with our friends, consequence is we haven't done much the rest of the weekend, apart from catch up with a bit of housework and a expensive food shop as we went without a list

As August, Sept and October are going to be expensive months I will make this the next challenge, (as we have very full cupboards and a freezer), to reduce the stock of food we have which will cut the cost of the weekly food shop.

And the mortgage is now under £91K (I think)
    Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
    ISA challenge start 2019 £3000/£1500 (50%)

End of the year - money news

    £957.52 Aug
    £306.26 Sep
    £352.67 Oct
    £651.32 Nov
£96.25 Dec (wonder why this one was lower :))

Total over payments for this year = £6232.67, which is a lot better than the £511 that we manged last year but we did get a shiny new kitchen last year

So this means we are back on plan for paying it back in 10 years as the mortgage is £86,370 (target was £86,400)

Goal for the end of 2015 - £75,000
    Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
    ISA challenge start 2019 £3000/£1500 (50%)

Well done on meeting your goal :j
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Oh how I have neglected my dairy (thought I had last posted around March time)

Totals so far this year have been as below, which is a whopping £2448.34
    £278.24 Jan
    £667.75 Feb
    £711.61 Mar
    £271.03 Apr
    £519.71 May

Also this year we have replaced the fence on one side and had the fascia’s, soffits and gutters done and had the porch/dormer windows clad, so we are now all plastic and do not need to paint the outside of the house ever
Target for this year was to get the mortgage to £75K, tomorrow we will be under £80K when the monthly payment is taken, so current shortfall is just under £1K
Now in the process of saving/planning a new en-suite, so bathroom shopping next week

    Fun stuff
We have done a few room escapes (locked in a room for an hour and you have to find to solve puzzles to escape)
Spent 5 days in Dublin for BF’s 40th birthday bash, also managed to arrange a surprise party for him as well, so he got spoilt for a week
Booked a holiday to Jamaica for later this year, cannot wait and have a count down at work running
    Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
    ISA challenge start 2019 £3000/£1500 (50%)

    Great progress, Radish.

Room escapes sound like "The Adventure Game'.
