  • Hi there

This is the first chance I've had to log in today, as I've been a VERY busy flylady!

Started out after breakfast with early dental appt, then went to shops for sick friend. Took him his shopping and went back out to shops for him! Took extras back then cleaned his whole flat, changed the bedding and did some paperwork for him. Left, shattered, three hours later and did some shopping for us.

Got home, de-cluttered a quick snack, then did two hours absolute scrubbing in the summerhouse (it had got slightly flooded and we hadn't been down there as it's rained so much since!), then one hour cleaning in the conservatory. OH made some soup and sorted some plantpots and overgrown shrubs on the patio, and we've now just sat and had a bowl of his lovely soup - first time he's ever made any! It truly was good!!

I am now hot, sticky and dirty! Not bothering to shower (that sounds awful!) as going to thoroughly clean through the place tomorrow and change the bedding. Will get a nice shower after that and hope to do it all by late aft, then we'll treat ourselves to a burger tea and get our main shop at Mr Ts. Hope to have Sunday free to chill out and maybe buy a few more colourful plants to brighten up the front porch before our visitors arrive on Monday.

One thing about having guests, it gets you cleaning!

Thank you, Kazmeister, before I forget, for the info on the Broads. I've jotted down the names of the places you mentioned. It sounds like we'll have loads of things to do there.

Well, having a relax and cuppa now, so good vibes to everyone, and good wishes to all those feeling under par. R x
  • well I have just decluttered my handbag, 11 pens, 7 pencils and 4 black markers, reciepts and fluffy bits:eek:
Sorted though my make up bag although i had done it recently so it was good. Replaced stuff I needed, make up, 2 pens and a marker, a couple of buisness cards, and my nail kit:D this is ironing avoidance at its best;)

    Evening all

Proud parent moment DS3 won 2 of the 3 awards at cricket tonight, Top overall Scorer and Players' Player, he is very happy.

Rowan Tree you sound like such a kind friend to be helping out so much

Betty Crumble good luck with your decision

Not doing anything else tonight. Bitty day tomorrow with boys activities and DH is out all day so not sure what I'll achieve.

Congratulations to proud parent Dustykitten and DS3.

Yes, it has been quiet on the list. Perhaps everyone's got Fridayitis. I have decluttered a few more small admin jobs this evening, but nothing to shout about.

Looking forward to more sunshine tomorrow.
