Congratulations to proud parent Dustykitten and DS3.

Yes, it has been quiet on the list. Perhaps everyone's got Fridayitis. I have decluttered a few more small admin jobs this evening, but nothing to shout about.

Looking forward to more sunshine tomorrow.

A but Ionafan - it is - because every small step is a step further along the journey to complete flyladyness - where your home is a well oiled machine;) - and can be brought back to order as if by the original flylady (who had excellent decluttering systems) Miss M Poppins lol

oh wouldn't life be easier if the toys marched into their boxes, the mucky dishes popped into the dishwasher and the washing came out of the machine, dry, ironed and ninja-folded.

I'm going to bed now as I should be on a train to Shortbirdland at sparrows cof

eta congrats to Dusty's DS - especially on Player's Player which, I think, is a special one to win as som many people vote

  • Good evening :D

    It's quiet on here today.
I haven't been on for a few days :o I have had the baby for the last 3 days. He was 7 months old when I last had him, and rolling around. He is now 9 months old, crawling, pulling himself up on furniture, opening cupboards, etc!:eek: It is funny how quick you forget this stage! And the youngest children I have had in the last 4 years of minding have been 18 months - a whole different ball game. I certainly know I have him, but he is so happy & smiley :) No problems with settling back in (at an age when they can be clingy, so this is good ;))
DH has spent the last few days sorting his Star Wars collection (don't ask!!!!) from the loft. He is talking about getting rid! Trouble is, he is trying to sort it out and 'catalogue' it all :o This could take a while, and he will probably lose interest before he actually does something productive!

Today i have managed to take 3 small children to the park, hang out & take in the washing, clean out the rabbit, pack away all the toys (after they left) and hoover through downstairs.

Tomorrow I have art in the morning, then shopping in the afternoon. DD2 is out at a party (staying over), and DS is going to Adventure Island in the evening. This leaves us with an empty house on a Saturday night! :j:j DH is cooking something nice, as we didn't celebrate our 15th anniversary on Thursday really. Then we will probably sit and watch Dr Who!! ;) On Sunday we hope to get over to the Essex Country Show in Billericay :) Can't see much flying happening this weekend :o

Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them x

    Morning all

My body clock seems to have permanently shifted to a 5:30-6 am start.

Been pottering so far and researching bikes for DS3 for Christmas; finally managed to get him a cycle helmet that fits and we like yesterday.

    Flying plan for the weekend:
    Change the beds
    Huge pile of ironing
Dust all 3 kids bedrooms (after they have tidied them)
    S&S bathroom and shower room
    Sweep kitchen floor

    Also:
Sort some of the paperwork taking over the dining room
    Delete 50 emails
    pick blackberries
    water garden, front and back
Kill the weeds on the driveway

    Kids
    DS3 homework
DS3 to track cycling and a party
    DS2 to work and homework
    DS1 to work and cricket

Oh and boilder eng coming this am to finish instillation and collect payment

Morning all. About to spend some time on here planning my list for big monthly shop. I had thought it would be delayed by a week but I have use of the car today so thought I'd take advantage. Other tasks for today:

    Walk dogs
Vacuum LR (really should go right through house)
    Cut grass back and front

There probably are other things too, but I'm not feeling particularly enthusiastic this morning so would like to think I will actually tick things off the list, so better not make it too long!
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning peeps. Sorry I didn't get a chance to pop in yesterday, it was a busy day at Pixie towers and I was running around everywhere like a headless chicken :). Didn't get anything ticked off Fridays list but did do a load of washing and hung out, loaded/reloaded DW, S&S Kitchen and Hoovered the downstairs before my mum popped round. We went out to lunch which was lovely as we never do this and was nice to speand some time together.

Plan for today is to catch up on [STRIKE]all[/STRIKE] some jobs that didn't get done this week. Also need to sort and iron clothes for the christening we are godparents at tomorrow. I'm gonna wear what I wore to the wedding reception on Saturday, i've only just bought it and not spending more money on another outfit. We never normally go out or get invited to these sort of things so would never get any wear out of it, besides, I don't really do girly clothes I'm much happier in jeans and T-Shirt :). It's also my B-Day tomorrow so hoping OH may take me out for dinner. Catch you later folks TTFN.

Safe and fruitful trip wishes to Valli.

    Fantastic news Dusty and DS3.

    Apologies for absence to FFP

My head is a little tired (Pub last night). Trying to summon up some GUAG for the manic Saturday morning round of tennis, football and gymnastics.

Really need to give DS2's room and DS3 and DD2's shared room a good going over.

By beautiful big girl DD1 is back from her holidays this morning. I've really missed her.
