I've done tescos and forgot most of the stuff I really needed. I was looking after a child for a friend and it's a bit more fraught when one is not yours.

Dinner cooked. DS1 & 2 washed up. I have done HHI and cleared the window sills in the kitchen which are gathering grounds for carp. I've remade our bed and had a quick tidy in the bedroom. It needs an intensive couple of hours as it's looking rather neglected. It really needs a lick of paint and a new carpet. It's a huge room over the double garage and I'll never justify buying 25ft of carpet.

DH is away in CY's neck of the woods tonight. I hate it when he's away on Thursday nights as everyone heads to London on Friday afternoon when he's on his way home and it takes him ages.

My phone is buzzing. The mum's from school are suggesting pub and wine tomorrow night. I'm very tempted!

Bed changed and a huge pile of books and paperwork sorted and either chucked or stashed away.

Embb - have fun but will it really be worth it with a massive hangover (says she thinking back to her last one )

Rowan Tree - The Broads are lovely. If you have small children then Bewilderwood is a must and better still if you can get a copy of the book to read to them first, it makes the place come 'alive'for the kids. The chap who built the park grew up there and wanted to give other children the chance to enjoy the pleasures he had. Not sure if he wrote the book first and then created the park around it or vice versa but fabulous story. Theres Bure valley railway, lots of birdwatching places, Norwich Castle/Cathedral nearby, Reedham Ferry Inn used to be a fab place for food but havent been in years but it still has the same owners so should be ok. Theres also one on the riverside at Coltishall but I cant remember the name. Hope you have a good time.

Anyway sleepy time for me now, will try and update list tomorrow.

    Night all

    Can't believe I'm the first up - it's already after 7 o'clock!

Not much flying achieved yesterday, as I was out at a funeral all day and with DH at a meeting in the evening, but I did clear the study before I went and even filed the papers off the floor.

The WM is already on this morning and I've not got very much left to do from the lists, but have mentally highlighted several of my own Toots and Frogs to be done today.

DGS1 started school yesterday and DD sent me some photos of him in his new uniform. He was only 4 in June and is quite small for his age, so even the smallest size of blazer is enormous on him! Apparently he had a good day and (last night) was quite happy at the prospect of going to school again today.
    :)

Fred has grown so much that I have only managed to skim through the posts, but here are (((hugs))) all round where needed, and congratulations and gold medals wherever they are due - some of you Flyladies have achieved mega-flying this week! :T

    Morning all

Another manic day here at the Dusty place so probably only dailies will be achieved today.

First aim of the day is to make sure DS2 gets the school bus as I had to drive him yesterday which is a 40minute round trip.
