    Looking at Train Tickets now

Do i go to New Street then get a local to Selly Oak?

Oops, sorry, only just got back on MSE and hadn't noticed your reply!
University Station or Selly Oak, usually leaves from platform 11 at New Street, local trains that go to Longbridge or even Hereford! I would hope that the cafes etc will be open on campus; loos are plentiful but the ones at Staff House are very nice and centrally located.

If you go to Selly Oak station, there are plenty of cafes (eg Selly Sausage) which will probably be open as well as an Ald! and a Te$co Metro. The middle of campus is marked by the bell tower and a load of redbrick buildings and you can get through to campus via the road next to the Goose pub on the Bristol Road.

Let me know if there's anything you need to know that they don't mention on the website:rotfl:

  • Keeping up quite well here. Mon, Tues and Wed managed level 2 and most of level 3.

Just got in from work and managed to squeeze in a trolly dash round the supermarket before collecting the kids. Having a quick bowl of HM soup to keep me going til tea (and before I eat something I regret) and then I'll have an hour on the bedroom. The landing is too small to even count so it's an easy day for me.

Been fairly productive today - albeit in a rather lazy way (!!)

Acted as foreman while OH sorted out some junk (sorry, precious stuff) and managed to fill two bin bags of useless bits of string and other stuff than men love to hoard.

    Swished bathroom and kitchen.

Big hugs to nicki and I'm sure there were some well done's too but my short term memory loss is becoming a bit of a habit :o
