    Morning!

Back from hols last night. Oh boy it was awful am so glad to be home. Please remind me not to do this again until the kiddies are much older...

    1. In true mum style she didn't read the bloody paperwork and we were dumped by the taxi on a street where we weren't supposed to be, in the dark
    2. We were supposed to go to an office to collect the key, so I had to leave her, my babies and our luggage, in dark, on lonely street, to go find said key.
    3. We then had to move two toddlers, two buggies, two suitcases and 4 handluggages down the road to the correct place.
    4. Then found we had been put above a club that was open until 9am
    5. Next day found the pool was not suitable for children, as per the booking description, there was no shallow end.

Why oh why did I let her talk me into this, I was bloody fuming, can't believe she didn't read it, anything could have happened to us that night.

Anyway, suffice to say, it has been stressfull as hell, but the kiddies had fun on e beach, and littlest moo enjoyed her birthday. She is definitely two. It's like a switch, suddenly she is all strop and attitude, which is hilarious as she is an angelic looking curly blonde little cutie, complete with folded arms and pout, lol.

Kiddies decided to stay with granny and gramps (he collected us as my car was at theirs this week, they live near airport) last night so today is laundry day. House looked very clean and tidy when I got in, so not a lot needed other than unpacking, washing and putting away. Oh, and go buy some milk and do an Internet shop to be delivered tomorrow or Monday.

Oh, and I need a shower, feel grubby. Does anyone else feel like holiday showers never really get you clean? Off to go scrub my (faint) tan off...

So hi and hugs to all, missed ya x

What a nightmare Bossymoo. Belated birthday wishes to your DD.

    Still searching for some GUAG.
  • Hello - *creeps back in quietly*

I have been a very bad FLYlady in the last 3 days :o. Have a very bad case of CBA syndrome on Wednesday and then didn't really think about how busy I was on Thursday and Friday and that led to not much happening. The house looks a bit like a bomb site. I have made a start and loaded the DW and set that running. Here is the list that hasn't managed to get done:

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level Three
    Clean filters on appliances

    Wednesday - Bathroom & Conservatory/Study
    Level One
    Clear and hoover/mop floors
    Level Two
    Clean toilets
    Clean bath, sinks, shower, etc
    Level Three
    Dusty any dusty bits
    Wipe keyboard, mouse and monitor

Thursday - Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level Two
    Clear floors
    Hoover floors
    Level Three
    Clear a hotspot
    Clear and wipe windowsills
    Extras
    HHI
    HH Paperwork

    Friday - Children's Bedrooms/ Spare Rooms
    Level Two
    HH Floor Clearance
    Level Three
Hoover any floor you can see
    Clear and wipe windowsills
    Extras
Do a job of your choice!

Oh dear... Hope the GUAG returns soon :o *reluctantly leaves to start list*

All boys away now for the next hour to various things. So watering of the garden next.

But, it didn't!! I hate holidays and I would have had in my head I was not going to enjoy it at all and I would not budge.. I am awful away from home, I just want my house!

Anyway, suffice to say, it has been stressfull as hell, but the kiddies had fun on e beach, and littlest moo enjoyed her birthday. She is definitely two. That is quite amusing because Squeak did exactly the same.. woke up on her birthday full of 'no's' and 'mine's'

Oh, and I need a shower, feel grubby. Does anyone else feel like holiday showers never really get you clean? Off to go scrub my (faint) tan off...

We missed you too.. it has been very quiet this week with people getting back to work and off on jollidays! I do hope you managed to enjoy some parts of the holiday though.

Well, I am again knackered.. we were up 1:30am, 3:30am, 6am and 7:15am... Remind me why i bother going to bed!! On a plus we are another tooth through this morning.. so she now has 3 on the bottom and 3 on the top and looks very lopsided.. lol PLEASE let that be the end of sleeplessness for a day or 2!!!

    eek... quiet girlies.. best investigate!

  • Last cricket league match of the season today - so whilst it is peaceful I want to get the ironing sorted...

Congrats to Dusty's DS on the cricket awards - ours are next week - have been asked to go ( 3 course meal that won't fit with S/W, with people I don't really know and on the first night of Strictly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)- but I haven't decided yet!

So what were they up to? I can imagine Dot following Squeak everywhere, seeing what precious items she can reach!

We're off out in a few minutes: got to collect a parcel form the sorting office (the postman tried to deliver it on my one day out this week), then to the garden centre for a £1.99 cooked breakfast to keep us going until teatime, also need to go to C. Tr@ders to return the ghastly T-shirt that DH bought for himself a fortnight ago. He tells me he *never* wears T-shirts, yet bought himself one with some ghastly slogan on it. I refuse to be seen with him if he puts it on!

But first I must get next week's birthday cards ready to post...
