My Doc wants to know what ATOS use as I am apparently cured as well (he wants it for the rest of his patients!)

I didn't even have a medical, I just got a letter saying I am now in the Work Related Activity Group :(

Surely, if ATOS thought you were cured, you wouldn't even have made it to the WRAG??
Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My mind is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the way to a just and right resolution. Amen.

    No it doesn't.
Universal credit, and PIP will be well administered benefits, with all of the claimants fully understanding the reasons they got or did not get benefit, and agreeing with them.

:D lmao at that one... I guess they will be sprinkled with the same fairy dust that made Atos so skilled!

As far as I am aware the contracts have not yet been finalised so fingers crossed it's not Atos

The remaining are still up for grabs

    Atos have 2/3 contracts
    Capita Healthcare have the other.

If it's not ATOS it'll be some equally uncaring organisation.

Anybody who'll reject as many valid claims as possible.

just a rant (sorry). yes apparently i am miraculously cured. isnt that marvellous??

have been on dla for many years due to degenerative back disease, damaged discs etc. i also now have severe RSI in both arms BUT i am now cured apparently

ATOS said i was fine and now my DLA has been reduced from high care/mobility to nothing!!! apparently i can walk fine, cook for myself etc etc WOW lucky me, funny cos yesterday i could barely get out of the house and couldnt even cut my own dinner let alone cook it <Sigh>

am already 9months into appealing ESA now looks like i am going to going thru the same for DLA. last time i appealed I had a Doctor come out to me (at lord knows what cost) she was stunned they had turned me down and said so in her report. unfortunately this was 4/5 years ago so is apparently now out of date

i know they have to check up on people, i do understand that but i feel harassed. surely if u have been awarded something and they have been told its degenerative isnt that enough??? well no obviously not

    sorry rant over!!!!

As an aside, noticed your signature - have you really been on the Atkins diet for 8 years?
I wonder if you eat lots and lots of meat and the effect that might have on your arthritis?
Sorry if this is impertinent, I just wondered.
