I have read through this thread and am surprised when people can only think of one example of when they feel they are getting on. I can think of several.
I was reminded recently however when my nephew was doing history GCSE and part of the "history" course was the Falklands War and Vietnam.
That is not history. That is politics! Its politics when I can remember the event and history when I was not born IMO!:rotfl:

Although my favourite designer, David Nieper of Derbyshire, does recognise that figures change over time, and a size 12 aged 20 is not the same as a size 12 aged 50. His styles are absolutely classic and timeless. Although, probably not what the under-20s would wear - maybe not 'cool' enough!
I missed a lot of those earlier TV series because of working funny shifts, doing OU studies, not always having a TV. Quite often people quote a TV series at me and say 'you must have seen that' and usually, I haven't.
When you have a look at a site and see t shirts cost £69
Sorry Margaretclare but I think that is very expensive. More worryingly when I tried to leave their site I couldn't close it down and more and more pages kept opening. Don't know if they have a virus or I have or what but in the end had to close my computer down as there was no other way to get away from them. Perhaps they were holding me hostage to try and get me to spend £69 on a plain white t shirt. Think I will stick to M and S. I guess we all have different priorities for spending our money.Sell £1500

I've always been able to close them down, don't know what went wrong there.
I was at a Conference yesterday and I felt a lot more confident wearing my new olive green skirt and blouse from David Nieper. One of the topics that came up was encouraging home-grown industry and the concept of 'business clusters'.
Yes, it is priorities. I've had to re-do my wardrobe almost completely because of weight loss. What I've bought recently is quality and will not date.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

I know, couldn't believe it. They had cardigans for £229 I think, not going to look again as I had trouble with the site. I would want the trousers the t shirt and the cardi for £229, well probably for £69:rotfl:Sell £1500

I did say that was from memory as I couldn't risk going on there again. I take it you did see the plain white t shirt for £69? I had a quick look at the dresses, jumpers and cardigans and tunics I think. I did see a nice tunic, jersey, brown and gold stripes. I thought it was quite nice but again I thought it was very expensive, but I can't remember the price now. The dresses weren't particularly my style so the price didn't really matter.Sell £1500

I've just had a look at the Nieper website. A T-shirt for £79! It must be made from butterfly wings, woven by fairies I thought. Nope - it's genuwine polyseter through and through .................

That is even worse than the one I looked at. I thought £69 must be pretty special but not sure what I would expect in a £79 t shirt.Sell £1500
