interested in history,
you suddenly realise that 300 years ago, isn't really so long ago ...it's only 6 times your own lifetime .... eeek!

Growing up in the '60s, the 1920s seemed like ancient history; not so much now; got a different perspective ....!

I have found that too. You seem to have a very different attitude to the dimension of time. It is incredible to think that only five hundred years ago the govt could burn you alive in public for thinking the wrong things. (ie "heresy").

When the idea of having to go to a do, wedding, 21st etc fills you with dread. All that loud music omg!

When staying in is the new going out.

When you get to the top of the stairs, huff and puff, can't remember why you went up there...have to come back down again to figure out why, and remount, for the same thing to happen all over again!
