Paris? Oh my goodness, I'm ridiculously jealous........

If you're a disgrace, then I must be too - I've been on a few 5 night long haul business trips with just a carry on suitcase!! When I first started travelling with work I used to take a huge case with me even if I was just going for 2 nights, it's amazing how you learn to pack lighter over the years.

Although, I do sometimes still need to take a big case with me with I go to the States so that I can go shopping!!

My case is always lighter then my BF's as to lazy to lug anything heavy around, I went to Munich for 5 days and my case only weighed 5kg

Arrived safely in Paris and the hotel have let us check in nearly 5 hours early so we have unpacked and are having a quick sit down before we begin hours of walking about, on free WiFi at the hotel. Mr AJM downloaded a trip advisor app for his kindle fire and it got us to the hotel straight away. Lovely little hotel especially as we didn't pay too much although there is a dog in a room nearby that keeps barking. Confused about breakfast, I didn't think we had booked it and we were going to decide whether to eat in or out but they have just mentioned it so it is possible they offer a free buffet, I hope so!

    See you all later x

Loads of walking done today. We had a lovely lunch but a bit pricey so will look at different options over the next couple of days. We were so tired that we came back to sleep for a couple of hours and luckily the dog had gone. Need to go out for dinner soon but having a local relaxing evening and an early night.

24 hours left in Paris, we have walked about and looked at a lot but are both quite tired so haven't done too much.

Currently working through a 10 year plan in my head, most of it is work based but I am planning some money goals too.

Came back from Paris yesterday and left the house 12 hours later to go on a work trip, now halfway down the country. I am trying to ration myself money wise while I am away and want to keep as near to £12 a day as possible. Normally it wouldn't be a problem but I need to pay for 3 meals a day! Luckily breakfast is heavily subsidised and there is a cheap pub and a bakery near where I am working.

Spending is going well. Spent just under £17 on Saturday but I can claim that back next week so I don't mind going over. Just under £12 yesterday and I should easily do it tomorrow. Today could be the tough one as we are having a meal out for a friend's birthday but I am hoping any overspend can be absorbed by tomorrow's underspend.

Missing Mr AJM but he will be down on Wednesday so looking forward to that :D

Today's spend has come in just under £9 so a lot less than I had planned. I seem to be taking money out of the bank every day but I shouldn't need such large amounts of cash now so I am hoping it will last me a while.
