You will be glad to hear that I am shattered and won't be moving from the sofa this afternoon then, the bonus of getting slightly ahead yesterday.
Been to the gym again which might have added to my tiredness. I hope it is making a difference!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I am debating selling my wedding dress but every time I make some sort of decision I speak to someone who has done the opposite. I won't wear it again as I can't get into it and haven't looked at it since the day, it is just hanging in a wardrobe. Just wondering what your thoughts are on this?MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I'd definitely sell it. As you say you won't be wearing it again, so might as well have the money for it.

Thanks for your reply. I might have a look tomorrow and then make a decision. I have looked at a couple of websites today and have a vague price in mind so we shall see, I might discuss it with Mr AJM too. If we were to renew our vows at a later date I would want another dress and I have the photos as a reminder...MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I am starting to make a list of things I can sell and am trying to decide on the best place for each thing.
I have had an email from amazon about trading in some of the books I have bought from them and am considering this for the ones they have listed. I know I may get less than selling them privately but I will be able to get rid of them , free up some space and make some cash. For the ones that aren't listed I am not sure what to do.
I have some taps that we bought for the last house but never fitted and won't need in this house, if it turns out that we move in 10 years time and need some then I will buy then. Because of the weight of them I am considering a local facebook page rather than maybe losing out on postage but I don't know anyone who has used them so am unsure.
I have 2 rings to sell and I have been advised by the gold stalls that selling privately would be a better idea. I have a friend who is a jeweller and she has said she will check the hallmarks etc so I can make sure I market them properly so I just need to make sure I do it.
I have loads of evening dresses that I no longer fit into and have been worn once each so I need to get photographing ready for ebay. I also have a brand new handbag that I was given as a present that I don't like so I need to try and sell that on there.
This should keep me going for a while, any joint owned stuff will go to the mortgage and my stuff will go into my ISA, I just need the kick to get on and sell. I will probably do this once I return from my travels in just under 3 weeks.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Bored.com we have a guy here sorting out our piano ready to change some strings but he likes to chat!!! I thought he would be done by now, he arrived over 2 hours ago and is now sitting having a cuppa but has not finished. He doesn't often leave before 11.30 so I hope he gets a move on. I had bought some nice desserts which we are having tomorrow now as I feel to rude to sort it out while he is here. DH chats to keep him company but I am sitting by myself and I am missing our time together in the evening.
On a brighter note, I have had a call about a possible pupil. I have asked them to call back in a couple of weeks when I am back but he went quiet on the phone when I discussed money. We will see how interested he is if he calls back. Teaching is definately the way forward for helping me to build up my savings and mortgage OPs.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

£18.97 in my account this morning from £co and work expenses so I have transferred it to my ISA seeing as I already have my £50 ready for the mortgage OP. However seeing as it was such an odd number and my ISA is nice and round I transferred £20 instead! I have been paid this morning which was a surprise, I had forgotten it was a bank holiday weekend. I still have £29.95 left for the next 3 days which should be more than enough. All we should need from now until Monday is money for coffee shops and I am putting off filling the car up until Monday so it should be fine. Any of the money that I have left I am going to use towards next months £50 OP.
Well it looks like I need to play catch up on my list. I have a load of washing on to make sure I have enough clothes to pack as best as I can for 3 trips as I have a day at home inbetween each of them and don't want to waste time washing and ironing.
