I have tidied all my clothes storage and got rid of a couple of bits so technically I have finished all my jobs for the day. However I want to make my life easier for tomorrow so am going to add a few more.

    Take badges off 2 jackets
Put away small pile of stuff from unpacking
Put all coursework into plastic box (if I can find one)

This should mean that tomorrow I can start working out what I am going to take away with me next week.

I didn't get very far with my extra list yesterday, I took one badge of a jacket and needed to do a little bit of sewing on it. I broke one needle and then started sewing the sleeve together  I am so un-domesticated when it comes to stuff like this!

    Take badges off 2 jackets
Put away small pile of stuff from unpacking
Put all coursework into plastic box (if I can find one)
Work out what to take away next week
Meal plan for me for next week and make a shopping list

Money wise I still have the same money as I haven't spent any of my own. Hoping to max my £500 into my RS account again this month but not sure how easy this will be from next month.

I will be keeping to my £10 a day spending challenge again in March with it rolling over if I don't spend it which will give me £310 to do what I want with. This is the last month I plan to work like this. I am going to use my spending diary to work out what my own food budget will be for the month but as I should only need 4-5 days worth each week at my new work I am hoping I can shop once a week which should make it easier to budget. I intend from April to work on £70 a week, buy my food at the beginning of the week, have the rest to spend and anything that I don't use will go into my savings pot each week. We also need to readjust how much money we are putting into our joint spending account. It is currently at £200 for everything (this doesn't include bills) and should be manageable but only with careful planning. I think we will end up increasing it by £100 but we are using this month to see how it works.

Once this next couple of weeks are out of the way I should feel more settled, at least for the next year. Mr AJM and I are still having to adjust to me being here and the new situation we have from next week, hopefully it will settle down soon.

Well that's a turn up for the books and at least I know I haven't been imagining things. I have just had a call from the medical centre where I saw the doctor last week and have been told that my sample showed up all manner of nasty things. In her opinion I should have been isolated so as not to affect anyone and probably need to get on antibiotics today! She is calling me back soon once she has spoken to some of the doctors to tell me what to do. It is made slightly more awkward by the fact I am 9 miles away from the nearest work medical centre but may need to make a trip to one with a doctor this morning.

Finally back after a few phone calls, 2 medical centres and a doctors appointment. I have had a bad case of food poisoning and now have a week's worth of antibiotics to give it an extra kick. They should mean I start to feel better in a couple of days, without he thinks I could have felt like this for another 2-4 weeks. I am not meant to prepare any food so treated myself to lunch, which means a spend today of £7.25. I may need to direct Mr AJM towards dinner or freeze the fish we were going to have and do something different. Here's to feeling better in the next few days.

I did my 10k run yesterday after lots of indecision as to whether it was a good idea, I took it easy and it seems to have sorted out my tiredness although I will have to see how the next few days go until I am sure. I guess the antibiotics are doing their job :D

Today is the day I head over to the West coast ready to start my new job. I need to pack this morning, having lunch at home so I save some money, get my shopping for the week and then head over. I am meeting the girl I am taking over from about 4pm and would like to have unpacked my car by then, even if I haven't put everything away. I am unsure how I feel about it all but need to get over there and start doing it so I can get rid of this apprehension.

I have tried to total up my mortgage accounts like I normally do on the last day of the month but my bank seem to be really slow at adding the interest today. I have ended to month with about £79 in my account, not sure how much in my wallet but I know it is fairly healthy. I am going to buy this week's shopping out of the money left in my account and transfer the rest into savings but add it at the bottom of my spending for March so I can work out my food budget.

I have no idea if they have wifi where I will be living or what the internet signal will be like on my phone, calling isn't always great so I am not sure how easy it is going to be to do my daily check on my accounts but hopefully it will be ok.

Hiya - just had a little catch up....

Poor you, sounds like you've been down in the dumps as well as being unwell - are you feeling better now?

Just thinking - if OH wants to do the Reg Saver, he'll benefit despite the higher tax as from April tax on interest is changing - might be worth looking in to it?

Did you get your mortgage quandary sorted?

Best of luck with everything, Lula x

I'm feeling better illness wise, I think I will feel better in general once I have started this new job. Mr AJM has quite a chat yesterday so things are getting back to normal at home although the new work situation will take a bit of getting used to us for now.

Mr AJM set up the regular saver but I don't know how much he uses it, I will broach the subject with hime at the weekend.

I haven't thought anymore about the mortgage if I'm honest but will do so once I am a bit more settled.

Right, I have packed my car, it still looks like I have loads of stuff even though I am not taking as much away. I am probably just rubbish at packing my car! I am going to potter around for another hour and have lunch and then get on the road to try and make it there for 2.30 although I am starting to wonder about eating on route so I can get there a little bit earlier, I would really like to finish unpacking my car and change by the time I meet my colleague. I think I will be busy until 9.30 tonight and we are metting before 8 tomorrow so need to make things as smooth as possible.

Wow, what a week! Away for 4 nights, I was working for 3 of them and finished at 9.30pm at the earliest and the other I was out meeting some of my new band. I am absolutely shattered and haven't really had any time to sit and doing nothing. The good thing is I should have more control over my working hours next week and due to our evenings this week I am only working 1 night next week. So far everything is going well, I have had a very warm welcome so hope it continues in the same way. It was great knowing I would get to come home today and even managed to visit a friend on the way, hopefully this will become a regular thing. I haven't managed to find anything about internet yet so have been using my mobile but it isn't ideal so this is one of the things I am looking into next week.

I am hoping to book our Easter break this weekend as I have now booked my leave, watch this space.

I have spent £67.37 of my £60 for this week so far although £20 of that is money transferred into our account. I wouldn't normally include this but I am interested to see what the end total will be. £20.10 of this has been on cups of tea at my new place of work (£9.90 for my superiors when they came to visit). I am going to take tea bags and milk to my office to try and save a bit of money, however the free wifi is in the cafe and there are windows there so I go up for a break (there are no windows in my bandroom). Maybe I should just use the tables outside the cafe!
