Just had a catch up. Hope you are now better and back to full fitness - sounds good if you enjoying the shopping :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

I am not a big shopping fan which is why I went earlier on a Sunday. We have to be in the mood for it and concentrate on getting stuff for one of us during the day, we don't do so well if we are both looking.

Almost on top of my computer admin at work which will mean when I am in the office I am working on current/future projects rather than playing catch up. Shame I can't say the same for my backroom, I'm not really sure where to start but am going to force myself to work down there tomorrow afternoon to come up with a plan.

Health wise I think I am getting there. Still shattered but I think that is my new job. I have an appointment with the nurse next week so can bring it up then if need be. I want to talk to her about my recent weight loss, it might all be related.

How would you guys go about organising a room that doesn't make sense? I am thinking or starting in one corner and gradually making my way round. I am seeing the whole task which is stopping me doing anything. I want my band members to see a difference and know I am taking our rehearsal space seriously.

There isn't really any order to it so it is harder to start. I have made a start though, I sorted everything on the desk yesterday. I have thrown stuff away, put things in the area of the room they should be in, made a list of what stationery I need to order and how I will change the filing when it arrives. I now have a pile of stuff at one end of the table to get storage for and the desk with be done. Tomorrow I am going to start organising the piles of stuff under the desk with the eventual plan of having nothing under there. I am on duty tomorrow so am going to spend the morning doing some sorting and then find something slightly more fun for the rest of the day!

Spending going ok, treated myself to a cup of tea in the cafe this morning so would get a proper break. Went for lunch at work even though I had something in the fridge, I really didn't fancy my option so it cost me an extra £1.57. I have £1.24 left to spend of the money so far for this month, £201.24 for the rest of it in total and hopefully I will be able to put plenty away at the end of the month.

I have just entered my next running event, the Great Edinburgh Run on April 17th which is 10 miles. I have been doing the running training for it and just need to add my strength training back in. It should give me 5 weeks after to have some lighter running weeks while I concentrate on strength before I start training for my half marathon.

I haven't included today's cost of the run in my spending as there is money set aside for events!

I did a swimathon for sport relief yesterday, 200 lengths of the pool

Moneywise things are going well. My daily spending is more than adequate so I will change things from next month, not sure how yet.

I need to sit and do some sums today. I made a promise to Mr AJM a while ago that he wouldn't have to work passed 60 or that he could choose to reduce his hours etc. Today is his 53rd birthday so I need to see if we are on target for mortgage neutral at least in 7 years and at best a lot closer to MF. Not sure how to do these figures yet but I will sit and do some "back of the envelope" calculations.
