Not sure if this is against the rules but if I don't post then I will never know.
My friend is trying to raise £6000 to try and record a choral album in the autumn. He has 8 days left to raise the money but currently only has £4875. He has been on local tv and still has a local radio appearance and a tv panel show to go. If any of you are interested in learning more or would like to help in any small way then please look at his fundraising website https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jamesdunlop/ascension-a-new-contemporary-choral-album
In other news, my spendy weekend now means I have really reined in my spending as I am not sure how easy it will be to make it to the end of the month. I have money to help me out but as I have some costly things coming up I would like to save the money for those so I don't need another month like this. Note to self: I can't really afford to have a nice meal and see a show every time I have a flute lesson!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I am still trying to claw back my overspends from the beginning of the month so am going to budget £100 for meals for the rest of the month which should help to have some extra cash in the bank for the end of the month. The spending diary hasn't been so good this month but I will try and get back on track in July.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

We are currently debating the pros and cons of moving to France when my contract runs out at work. It would turn all our/my current plans on their head so we shall see. We should have a financial appointment next month for our retirement/pension plans so we shall see what that throws up first.
At the airport with at least a 30 min delay and I have a very early work start tomorrow :mad:MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I have finally got sick of not doing much with my evenings while I am working away so I have signed up to do an online nutrition course. I have always been interested in studying this further and while I am exercising so much I have started wanting to eat but want to know the right things to eat to sustain me so it makes sense to start studying now. It is the first thing I have ever studied away from music since I left school and I am quite excited by it. I have a year to complete it although I have so much free time that I am hoping to finish by Easter at the latest in time for if I do my next music course at work. For once I will have a reason to sit at my laptop rather than aimlessly clicking to pass the time! It may stop me spending money too!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

 Still waiting for the info to register for the nutrition course after an email said it would be with me on Friday. I emailed the company today so I am hoping that will hurry them along, if not then I will get in touch with the discount company I got the deal from to let them know the service isn't what is advertised.
I am deliberately staying away from the site at the moment as I am a little embarrassed with my lack of OPs and managing to keep up with my spending diary this month. However I am going to re-start the diary in earnest next month to try and keep me on the straight and narrow.
Still busy at the gym (I am glad work in quite quiet at the moment) and am now at 292.85 miles of my 500 mile challenge, I am looking forward to breaking the 300 mile mark tomorrow. I am aiming for 7 miles a day at the moment and seem to be managing to do a bit more that that each time so I am hoping I will end the challenge a little earlier than the deadline.
Tomorrow I am going to see someone at a local site who is going to assess my body composition and tell me if I am eating enough and how I can eat better around the exercise I am doing. I am also hoping to try a yoga class for the first time at my gym tomorrow evening. I am not a very supple person so I will probably look silly but I am willing to give it a try. I am actually looking forward to doing something from a relaxation point of view.
Hope everyone else is doing ok. I have been reading the diaries, just not posting!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

My appointment went quite well. I have lots of body composition figures now so will be interesting to see if they change over the coming weeks. The good thing is my diet is good, the bad thing is I am not eating nearly enough. My food will probably start to cost me more now as I will be sorting some stuff out myself rather what is provided at dinner so I will see how it goes for the next week. Next appointment is in 3 weeks so going to try and keep a food diary again so I can keep track of what I am eating and what does and doesn't work. Apparently I will sleep better once I get this under control...my body has been waking me through the night because I am hungry?!
Next stop, continuing with this when I am at home with lots of tempting treats around!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Next month my spending will be a maximum of £10 a day with no room for manouevre. I need to see how much the extra food is going to cost me and then see what else might need paying for through the month. The spending diary is going to be crucial, this is my payback for buying myself clothes last month. Luckily my flights home to Mr AJM have already been paid for and we will probably just have a nice weekend in the house so I just need to watch the rest of the month. I start the month with a trip to London for my next music lesson and I would also like to get my hair cut...this will be a tough one!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I feel I am being quite bad with money at the moment even though I know I really am not. I forgot to re-start my spending diary yesterday, nearly couldn't be bothered to do the money shuffle and them became more deflated when I checked how my savings were doing since I checked at the beginning of June. I can't afford to pay into the ISA this month so have kept the money ready for my credit card bill and due to everything in the world being tilted on its head by S&S ISA has dipped a fair amount too. I seem to have lost my mojo for money at the moment and am really hoping it will find its way back to me soon...if any of you see it could you give it a shove in my direction :rotfl:
I am hoping this is just a phase that will pass very quickly!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I think your mojo has gone off partying with mine (with no respect for the bar bill they are probably running up)
