I have a dream...to be a MFW

Hi guys,
Our house guests leave tomorrow and the company has been lovely. I am looking forward to reclaiming the rooms and making sure everything is clean and tidy and organised.
In 3 weeks time I will be on my way down south to relocateI am looking forward to the courses/work and new challenges but am not relishing moving away from Mr AJM. By Friday (hopefully Wednesday) I will have handed all my work responsibilities to my replacement, sorted all my stuff and packed it up ready for some colleagues to drive it down next week. That will just leave my stuff to sort and a lot of reading and memory refreshing to do for my course. I have done a fair amount but not sure it is enough so I need to nuckle down from Monday, I also want to start exercising again.
We have rejigged our finances ready for our new living arrangements so we shall see if they work.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Today is operation get my house back to normal. I have 2 sets of sheets on the line with another still to do, towels waiting to go on the line and I haven't even thought about washing our clothes yet! I definitely could not run a B&B. Our cleaner is here today so at least she is saving me from doing that.
Over the next 10 weekdays I am going into one room a day and making sure that there is no clutter, the insides of the cupboards are clean, there is clean bedding and that a full food inventory is done to use up extra food before I start working away. It will leave Friday next week to sort through all the paperwork, make sure it is filed properly and that Mr AJM can speak to everyone if it is needed. That will then leave one week to enjoy my house before I go away. I missed yesterday because our house guests were here so today I am playing catch up doing our bedroom and all the bathrooms. It will be nice to go away with everything tidy and organised.
I have made sure our monthly bill costs are all up to date in my spreadsheet so I can tick them off each month and have put reminders on my phone for the quarterly bills so I remember to transfer the money over before it is needed. I have never had to be quite so organised before but I am determined to make my life as easy as possible while I am away.
Only an hour left until the cleaner leaves so I am going to have a read on here before I get going on my rooms.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Time is rapidly running out before I start working away, I will be making the long drive on Sunday and start my course a week today. I know the course will be good and I am looking forward to resurrecting some of my hobbies and getting together with old friends but it hit me last week how hard it is going to be being away from Mr AJM and our house
I am dragging my heels a bit with sorting my stuff out now too which is starting to stress me out so I have set myself a challenge for today. Before Mr AJM gets home (in about 2 hours) I need to have gone through the rooms downstairs to check if there is anything I need/want to take with me. I have done the kitchen and partially done the living room and music room so need to finish these. All I have left to do after this is the the bathroom and bedrooms, while I do the bathroom I can make a list of any toiletries I need to buy. I haven't a clue what clothes to take and what to leave here so I will leave that for tomorrow.
We made our MFW 2014 target yesterday :j I would still like to make another £50 OP this month and try and keep up the £150 a month OPs but that will depend on how well our money situation goes.
I need to make some lists to keep me going I think, I would like to load my car up or at least have it ready to load by the time Mr AJM gets home from work on Friday so we can enjoy Saturday together before I leave.
From Monday I am going to try only spending cash for a while, I will be quite busy so I am hoping I can set a budget and stick to it with maybe just a small amount for a monthly treat so I have something to look forward to.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Well I have survived the first week of my course. I think they have been easing us in gently as I was expecting it to be far busier than this. I was a good girl yesterday and did all my homework straight away, all I have left to do is learn some points for a short talk, start my project (doesn't have to be in for 10 weeks) and read over this week's notes to check I understand.
I went along to my local parkrun this morning, it was a lovely atmosphere and I ran quicker than I expected too which is a bonus. I went out with the intention of buying a new waterproof jacket (I have the money saved up) but I didn't like any so I am going to look online.
I am going visiting my sister and niece tomorrow, that is the upside from living away from home...I am a lot nearer them to catch up. I believe my niece is very excited, I fear I may be on the trampoline with her a lot though.
I had planned to spend this week working out how my spending would work but I haven't really start this. As of Monday I think I need to keep a spending diary while I work it out. Even though I have a 3 hour round trip to see my sister I should still be able to last until next month to fill be car up with fuel.
Still not relishing the thought of being away from Mr AJM, I looked at flights to get home yesterday for the end of the month...they are £270  I am considering getting the train at least one way, I can use the time to study at least which would give me the whole time at home with hubby to enjoy it.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Hi guys, I am still alive although very busy. I have had a rare weekend at home and fly back today so I hope the winds die down. I have 5 weeks left on my course, I have been busy studying but need to include more revision time ready for my exams.
We got slightly organised on Friday as we did the majority of our Christmas shopping, I have a couple of things to order online or buy near to where I work. Next time I am home I will do the wrapping and card writing and maybe put the decorations up so I can enjoy Christmas when I come back for leave. We decided yesterday to go away again for Christmas so just need to organise when we see our families.
Monetise it has been a little tough but I think everything will even itself out over the next month, it is not easy keeping a home and living somewhere else.
I will try not to fall off the radar too much this time!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
