No buying unnecessary toiletries in September

I have decided that I am going for an absolutely no spend in September and October. There is no need for me to buy anything for years except for deodorant, so no excuses. Freebie INs are fine!
Wish me luck! :rotfl:0 -

use up no403-spell body lotion in vanilla sands-wba if they still made it!!i think i will look out a bottle of sanctuary stuff next to use up
i think my next use up will be a mascara and i have a voucher to get a no17 mascara for a £1 so think i will use that soon.well happy with my clearout, also stuck my makeup palettes on a shelf(out of direct sunlight) with the intention if i can see it i will use them more instead of the same colour everyday..
Congrats on the UUs - 400 for the year so far is amazing. I have just passed the 2000 UU from when I started my spreadsheets - wish I had been doing my £1 in the pot for every UU from the beginning - that would have been a great feeling! Still, doing pretty well so far this year - over £150 now in the kitty from all my UUs.
I have my first UU of the month to report:
Liz Earle cleanse and polish 30ml - started this on hol and have UU as I am not planning to go away any time soon so decided to use it from my holiday toiletries bag rather than it go off. Absolutely WBA when needed - one of my HG products.
Oh, and managed to not buy the LG on the Q yesterday - yay me! Another £5 in my SPC...0 -

A fair bit of movement for Sept so far -
IN: (mainly planned for hols)
Boots Vitamin E Facial Wipes
Sure Clear Pure Crystal Roll-on Deo 50ml
Lee Stafford Hair Growth Shampoo 200ml (Impulse buy as growing hair)
Lee Stafford Hair Growth Conditioner 200ml
Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo Dark 150ml
Tresemme Freeze Hold Hair Spray 100ml
Murad Essential-C Cleanser 45ml (Freebie with Marie Claire)
Palmolive Naturals Nourishing Delight Shower Milk 500ml (bit scared as this is the same size as the Clean on Me that took forever and a day to UU but at £1.29 in HB and smelling lovely it was too good to resist and its not a pump which I think was half the problem of the S&G, it made it too frugal)
UU:
Elizabeth Arden Overnight Success Skin Renewal Serum - WBA assuming its not too ridiculously priced and they still make it - found it lurking in the fridge door (as you do) - most definitely original stash material, smelt a little odd but that could be due to its vintage. Really liked the texture and skin behaving well.
No. 7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner - Another original stash item - yay - meant for normal/dry skin, mine is more combination but no ill effects as far as I could see - Might BA, most likely with a voucher.
Also the Lee Stafford Shampoo and Conditioner had to go pretty much straight back - had quite a bad reaction to these around the front of my hairline - not sure whether its as they are so heavily scented or due to some special 'hair growth' ingredient. I have used other Lee Stafford products before without any issue and although I have sensitive skin I've never had a problem with shampoo or conditioner before. Will revert to original plan of getting some L'Oreal Everpure as I loved the sample sachets of this, unfortunately neither of my local Boots stock it so will order online. Lee Stafford also left hair variously flyaway or wiry so big thumbs down from me but fabulous reviews in the main online.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying some nice weather this month as we have been here.

I wish I had kept better count too Never mind. I have more spare in my drawers so know that I'm not buying as much. Have not been tempted by any of the freebies this month so far either. Caught a small glimpse of the LG demo yesterday but really don't need anything tan enhancing at the mo!
Missed out on the Philosophy Pumpkin Spice shower gel because I forgot about it. Did put it on Watch List but then forgot to bid.
Have just repainted my nails and am now wearing my new OPI Germanicure by OPI. Has a gorgeous shimmer to it.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I doubt I'll be buying any soap.
s a result of reading this thread I tidied up my stash and discovered 12 soaps in a box that I bought in a half price sale + I already had 6 bars of soap lurking about in the bathroom.
I am not planning to buy any cosmetics and toiletries this year as I use to sell both types of products and have a ridiculous amount of everything stashed away in a bedroom drawer...so much, I have been giving it away.January 1st 2013 starting weight 123 kg
August 1st 2013 weight 110kg

Got another UU just a sample of the L'Occitane shea butter ultra rich body cream...this is nice, definitely rich as it's thick and not really that easy to spread...smells pleasant and seems to be good so far! I'll have to see how my skin feels in the morning!0

I had a sample of this a little while back and loved it but it is £27 ish for a pot. I don't have dry skin and even if I did I think that is a bit steep. I did get the same product but in Vineyard Rose fragrance from their outlet for £4.80 for 100ml. Haven't opened it yet but it has the same shea %.
Have a uu this morning -
No7 Protect and Perfect intense day cream - I used this on my neck and decolletage as it brought about an 'intense' reaction on my face. Lumps and bumps all over. Definitely WNBA.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I use the less-Shea content one on my legs after I've shaved as I have sensitive skin prone to scabbing (nice), it really works a treat.
A few INs and UUs from me:
UU:
Pantene shampoo Smooth & Sleek - WNBA, didn't smell of much and didn't have much effect either.
Natural Collection nail varnish in metallic topaz - my first UU in nail varnish! I've had this for years and love the colour but the dregs had dried up. Pretty sure they don't sell it anymore either
Stella McCartney L.I.L.Y. perfume sample (freebie) - WNB, the smell didn't really do it for me.
IN:
Sanctuary 30 Day Thermal facial transformation (freebie)
Hugo Boss Nuit pour femme perfume sample (freebie)
