  • Morning everyone - I have been good today and resisted the Elemis on the Q. The full size papaya puts me off. Have added £5 to my SPC instead.

    VALM - will try and be good on Mon! Have had a quick look and can't say it grabs me - trouble is, when you start to watch you get drawn in...
    Also forgot to say congrats on the job. I am back at work on Mon after 3 weeks off and can't say I am jumping for joy at the prospect!

    Quite a few splutterers from travel sizes that went on holiday so hope for a good month this month. Aiming for Amarya to be my only IN of the month.

    Have a good weekend everyone

    reporting my first uu's for September:
    uu Garnier simply essentials make-up remover - brilliant for taking eye makeup off, have another one in the stash

    uu Shalimar body lotion, very light consistency, smells beautiful but wnba

    happy pampering, xo
  • forgot another uu!
    uu Revlon photoready foundation - my HG, have 3 more in the stash,

    happy pampering, xo
  • On the subject of shower gel, does anyone have any recs for SLS free ones? I don't like the Naked ones because the scents are too overpowering for me, and the body shop earth lovers ones all smell like banana to me!

    Dr Bronner's!! its cheap, you can get big bottles of it for about £8 and its either completely unfragranced or fragranced with essential oils. also lathers up really well.

    That's actually what I've been looking at! Which scents do you like? Can't decide between the citrus, peppermint, eucalyptus or the almond.
    Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £
    LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000
    Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 2017
  • How about when your stashes get low to just save one or two travel size for your hols?

    Yes, will do that - and make it something I've acquired recently, had some nice REN samples in recent months that I've not opened so can tuck away for future trips without worrying about them going off.

    Thanks Kipling Monkey for starting us off again.

    I am in for this month too.

    Last month I didn't buy any toiletries :j and I want to continue that this month. I still like my freebies but other than that I won't need any INs.

    Total for last month is 14 UUs and 4 (non bought Ins).

    Congrats on doing a no spend last month!! That's amazing!!

    Yes, count me in again for September. I think I have most of my stash under control with the exception of shower gels which I still have ample of. Obviously still not cured from my compulsive purchasing of these as I've just bought more on hols and am going to bid for the Philosophy Pumpkin Spiced Muffin one on Ebay but neither purchases are over the top. Plus I like to change them around so that I have an array of fragrances to use : fruity, floral and sweet. I know, small things ...... lol

    I will be going to JL today though to splurge a little on some new OPI from the Germany collection and have told MrM these are justified as little congrats gifts to me re: my new job.

    Otherwise, am aiming not to spend anything else on cosmetics as I don't think I am low on much else.

    Congratulations on your new job!!!!! Have fun with your new OPI's!

    Morning all.

    My first uu of September to report and boy am I glad to see the back of it:

    Ikea Hand Cream - 250ml - this is a big size for handcream even if you like it, I used this as foot cream in the end as I just didn't enjoy it. Good value at £1.89 ish though but wnba.

    I thought the Ikea body scrub would bite the dust today but there is still one more use, this is a 500ml bottle and whilst it does the job and again is good value I am just so bored with it.

    Have a good day everyone.

    I had no idea Ikea made handcream, is there anything Ikea doesn't make? :rotfl:
