No buying unnecessary toiletries in September

Yes, count me in again for September. I think I have most of my stash under control with the exception of shower gels which I still have ample of. Obviously still not cured from my compulsive purchasing of these as I've just bought more on hols and am going to bid for the Philosophy Pumpkin Spiced Muffin one on Ebay but neither purchases are over the top. Plus I like to change them around so that I have an array of fragrances to use : fruity, floral and sweet. I know, small things ...... lol

I will be going to JL today though to splurge a little on some new OPI from the Germany collection and have told MrM these are justified as little congrats gifts to me re: my new job.

Otherwise, am aiming not to spend anything else on cosmetics as I don't think I am low on much else.

Morning all.

My first uu of September to report and boy am I glad to see the back of it:

Ikea Hand Cream - 250ml - this is a big size for handcream even if you like it, I used this as foot cream in the end as I just didn't enjoy it. Good value at £1.89 ish though but wnba.

I thought the Ikea body scrub would bite the dust today but there is still one more use, this is a 500ml bottle and whilst it does the job and again is good value I am just so bored with it.

I am of course back in for the month, just to make sure I don't buy anything I don't need! Last month was a No spend month for me, but this month I fear things may be slightly different! I have almost finished my shower gel, cleansing oil, moisturiser, and daily face spf. Have also hit pan on 3 makeup products!

Really need to get a move on if I'm to use up a lip product this year!

On the subject of shower gel, does anyone have any recs for SLS free ones? I don't like the Naked ones because the scents are too overpowering for me, and the body shop earth lovers ones all smell like banana to me!

Thank you for starting the new thread Kiplingmonkey. I'm definitely back in for Sept and looking forward to a busier month challenge wise than Aug was - totals for the month were 13 UU, 6 IN, by far my quietest month to date and most definitely the first time my IN stayed in single figures!!! :T Will update and post my stash list as its long overdue an edit.
