Appreciate that Trix will probably be gone(but pleased for her!) early in 2016..but is anyone up for starting a new challenge? I would really like to really get it all over and done with next time...but not sure I can keep up with the spreadie sheets.. conjuring magic from excel ain't entirely my thang..
Anyone up for it??

I'd love to be a newcomer into this challenge. I've been on the year challenge this year and have lurked in this one secretly waiting to join the next one. The 2015 challenge has been immensely motivating and got me to start a diary, so i'm hoping this 3 yr challenge will give extra motivation to keep things going for the long term.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Thanks Trix and Voucherman
I think the 12 December 2012 - 12 December 2015 worked well for some (it's a date of some significance for me, yeah you guessed it!;)) so it always felt like an extra incentive to kick on even when other things were competing for my cash.
I would be very happy to go along with whatever anyone suggested in terms of actual dates. It's the principle of having a medium term goal that has always appealed.
Thanks again both - think your spreaddie skills will def outweigh mine...
Let us know what might be possible

Yes, me too. Just came across this , but would love to join the next one. You mention the 2015 challenge, will there be a 2016 challenge and if so where can i find it. Need short term goals to keep me on track for my long term goal.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

If you're after a short term challenge, you may want to lok at the MFW thread. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/51349630 -
Think I made a mistake on my form as my mortgage was at £53000 not £58500.....
Thanks Trix for all you're doing with these spreadsheets. I'd also be very keen to join the MFiT-T4. Unlikely to pay it off in those 3 years but it will keep me focussed!Total OPs 2012 - 2019 £39744.75Target 2020 £18500/£1850001/05/2020 MORTGAGE FREEMFiT-T4 #03 MFW2019 #30
