Dear Confused Mum,
Our daughters party was scheduled for yesterday (03/09) with GBG and despite e-mails assuring me the party would go ahead- you got it- it didn't. At least not with GBG. I too became a little concerned when couldn't access Internet to choose party bags but was lucky enough to find this forum ( thanks folks) and didn't want to take the chance that our daughter would be left disappointed , so I booked another company.
My advice to you would be to go to plan B- don't take a chance on this lowlife.
Have now notified credit card company, police and trading standards and will let them deal with her, but will rest safe in the knowledge that what goes around comes around- she'll get her just deserts.0 -

Have had an email back from gbg today saying my party is ok but am not convinced. We are in Essex - I just wondered if anyone else had been let down in this area or whether it's just for parties booked at the salon? My heart goes out to everyone that's been let down. Luckily I have a few days to sort something else out if necessary!
Hi.. i dont think you will be getting your party. Please please try and sort something different so as not to avoid distressing your daughter.
they are {Edited by Forum team} operating around the country ( im near the salon they are using which is all closed up )
I started the forum as to try and notify mums what is happening as after my disappointment I started googling and found an old forum from 2 years ago about them but this time its much larger!!
I dread to think how many parties are booked.. but thankfully now these phone numbers are not being answered no more booking should be taking place unless she has a different website that I havent found yet!!
Good luck with arranging alternatives and hope your daughter still had a fatnastic birthday xxxxx0 -

Hi yet another one.. at least this forum id doing a little good... as I said note before probably hundreds of parties booked out there and mums are blissfully unaware!!
words defy me at the extent of this {Edited by Forum team}!!!! xxx0 -
apparenly now I am a troll for trying to warn people about this {Edited by Forum team} going on...
she got away with it once through lies.. let her do it again!! I got my money back!!0 -
A big thank you Jordanz*1234 and madmayo for your replies and reassuring advice. I'm pleased to say I have organised an alternative for Sunday (phew!) and have cancelled my card so she doesn't get anymore money from me. I'll let you know if anyone shows up from gbg!! Lol!!
madmayo - re the "troll comment"! Take no notice! You have saved my 9 year old daughter from such disappointment this weekend - I cannot thank you enough x0 -

Suggest you all get together via FB group or something and then all make a complaint to The City of London Police rather than your local OB station. Would also drop a line to HMRC.0

have been told its not a police matter at present.. stinks I know cos this is deliberate {Edited by Forum team}...........
i am awaiting some calls back at the moment regarding this scumbag of a lady , hopefully wheels wlii start rolling then!! hopefully and I pray on bended knees that HER lies wont work this time!!0 -
Who told you that? The Police decide if it is a police matter, granted they will try and say it is civil, they always do. The City of London Police are very different though in that they have a finance and ecrimes unit. Until this is looked into and investigated no one will know how much she has made and from what I have read, not just on here but researching I would say it is easily into 5 figures.0

the police!!.......
with the updated info now and new research. A new investigation will show its deliberate and " not just a business gone wrong " and hopefully it will prove positive in getting rid of her for good!! But as we know bad pennies always turn up..
oh will add that because its nationwide authorites are passing the buck and wont collate all their information together!!! ( i have been passed between 2 because a different county dealt with it last time!!! )0
