OMG!! That's terrible
You'd of thought she'd of learnt her lesson last time!
I wouldn't of thought it would be easy to walk away from a shop. You really shouldn't blame yourself for not researching them properly, if there is a shop, why shouldn't it still be there for your party?! That is crazy! When I typed the company into FB lots of girls came us as working for them. Do you know how long the {Edited by Forum team} was running?0 -
No idea really.. i know it was mentioned on the original thread.2 years ago. dont know how long the salon was going for.. ( rumour has it she was using another salon in birmingham too and did a runner from there too )
she has been using lots of voucher sites too..
one clever young lady!!0 -

clever as in getting away with it!!!
the rest is all true as she {Edited by Forum team} my daughter out of her birthday fun!!0 -
Oh no!! I can't believe she is back! I got a call this morning from a mother who has been let down by her. I really did think that maybe she'd just taken on too much last time and she blamed her age, but there are no excuses this time! It's hard to think the best of people when there is no good in them!!
{Edited by Forum team} caused me and my family so much stress a couple of years ago as she had basically taken my company name (she traded as Little Divaz; I've been running Little Divas for 8 years and it's a very honest and repuatable company)
I do hope someone stops her this time! No little girl should be let down on her birthday, especially not by a selfish greedy woman with no morals!!
Hi Boo80, I remember you very well from last time {Edited by Forum team} was trading. And I can confirm that you are a very honest and repuatable company, and helped out many of the parents that were left in the lurch when their parties did not arrive, you attended last minute to make sure that the children got the party they deserved.
I really never thought that {Edited by Forum team} would be back after last time, and certainly not on such a big scale.0 -

'T..M..C.. (Europe) Ltd' (abbreviated name) is a Limited company, listed on companies house.
'W..M.. (International) Ltd' (as above) is a Limited Company, listed on Companies House.
'P.. Taxis (Hertfordshire) LLP' (as above) is a Limited Liability Partnership, listed on companies house.
'G..Taxi' (CK as an independent taxi driver) is not a limited company, operating through a Sole Tradership therefore not on companies house.
I operate as all four (not really the last one now, but I still enjoy it when I get time), using 3 different company structures.
All are legal, but the last one puts me as self-employed, therefore not needing to be registered anywhere. The last one is also too small to be VAT-registered (about £10k/yr t/o now), so there's no record of the business, except on HMRC's database.

I am aware of the differences I have limited companies myself. I am merely saying I cannot see her registered as either a Limited or LTD company and she isnt going to be a LLP or PLC. Soletrader more likely but either way her preference for cheque or cash/bank transfer and the way she always in essence {Edited by Forum team} peoples money I can probably safely assume she has paid no tax at all ever
I agree that this is probably the case.
The good thing is that from April 2013, as a non-resident (?!) trader, she'll have to charge VAT on EVERYTHING as the threshold for non-residents is going to 0. This would be definitive proof.
I have 2 girls myself, and we're lucky to have an events team behind the company who have always done things for the girls (I mentioned in July about taking DD1 to Spain for a few days with a few friends, booked through a contact of an employee), and I feel that it's ridiculous that she's been allowed to get away with this, especially for so long.

It's {Edited by Forum team}, on a grand scale; if she's gone insolvent then she shouldn't be taking new bookings, and at some of the prices she's taking, there's no way that she could make large profits on those margins, if any at all; From someone who's run businesses for about 9 years, it's just not a viable business model.
I'm generally realistic with regard to how businesses are run, but at the same time I have little sympathy for this woman, and think that as happens in Poland, she should be brought back to face charges for thousands of theft and fraud charges, and rightly so!

At 5.30 31.08 I called to see why they hadn't turned up for my daughters party due to start at 6.00. By 5.45 I realised what had happened and then had to tell my daughter she wasnt having a party!!!
I didnt really care about the money at the time just how could someone be so cruel, to see my daughter in tears on her birthday was heartbreaking. at 6.00 everyone turned up, and because I had invisaged not doing anything I had absolutley nothing prepared.
Disgusting someone needs to catch up withthese people so they can face criminal charges. Then they should be forced to appologies to evey individual that they have upset with their horrible {Edited by Forum team}. BTW did research loads before choosing this company, had no idea, certainly knocks your confidence with internet shopping!
Have contacted my bank and will see what happens now.0 -
Hi all! So glad I saw this forum. Tried to access gbg website today to choose partybag gifts for my daughter's party this coming w/e to find that it had gone! Have had an email back from gbg today saying my party is ok but am not convinced. We are in Essex - I just wondered if anyone else had been let down in this area or whether it's just for parties booked at the salon? My heart goes out to everyone that's been let down. Luckily I have a few days to sort something else out if necessary!0
