To put it simply and we know she is reading this thread, she is not going to be able to do anything, loads going on behind the scenes. Bye Bye {Edited by Forum team}0
-
As she is reading this thread - Hi {Edited by Forum team}
- I just want to say that its such a shame that what would have been a brilliant business and made her a very wealthy lady, plus offered lots of franchise sales, has been ruined by a totally greedy and uncaring person, who I now wouldn't trust to organise a pack of cards

Not quite.
There's just one more piece of this whole sorry jigsaw left to put in place.
When the Grumpy But Gorgeous salon closed, back in August 2012, {Edited by Forum team} continued to trade, but instead of being a national company, she decided to just do the South of England.
At about the same time, a new company sprung up, called My Pamper Parties.
MyPamperParties is run by an ex-member of staff of Grumpy But Gorgeous. It covers the North, Midlands and Wales.
Presumably, the person who runs My Pamper Parties is not one of the 8 girls who took Grumpy But Gorgeous to the Employment tribunal, because the two companies still co-operate. Indeed, they share some of the same photos. The owners of these 2 companies actually hosted a pamper party together last weekend in Durham, operating as Grumpy But Gorgeous.
That party was a free one, won in a competition last year. By a great stroke of luck, the person who won it, happens to be a blogger who writes reviews of beauty and children's products and services on her blog, in exchange for free beauty and children's products and services.
You can read the "review" here, but it's the photos that are most interesting, since the same photos appear in the Facebook group of MyPamperParties.
So there's no doubt the 2 companies co-operate and there's nothing wrong with that. Indeed, Carrie W. in her review of Grumpy But Gorgeous on Yelp, also drew attention to the fact that she was contacted by My Pamper Parties:
"I had a call from a similar company my pamper parties ( whom I'm sure is in on it as well!!)" and later in that review: "the lady from my pamper parties said she would help me but caused more harm than good"
The owner of MyPamperParties also runs another website called Girls Spa Parties Birmingham.
It is remarkably similar in format to some of {Edited by Forum team}'s other websites - in fact, almost identical.
The "Contact Us" page of Girls Spa Parties Birmingham has a link to what we now know was a phoney site, i.e. one that was based on a {Edited by Forum team}, namely an entire gallery of {Edited by Forum team} photographs: Girls Pamper Parties Essex. It's quite hard to see, but again, pressing ctrl-A on the keyboard reveals it clearly:
Now it didn't always look like that. It only changed recently. In fact, it used to look like this:
Stay with me guys!! This is were it gets interesting!
Until recently, MyPamperParties looked like this:
Fairly basic looking, I think it's fair to say (and very similar to the Little Divaz and Grumpy But Gorgeous sites).
Around about the same time these phoney sites started appearing (after the Elance adverts had been placed) My Pamper Parties had a dramatic makeover. It now looks like this:
wow! I think you'd agree. Very beautiful and professional looking.
Now where do you suppose they got that idea from?
(and keep in mind {Edited by Forum team}'s Ooh La La Girls Spa Parties) ???
http://oohlalabeautyspa.com/
Now, am I the only one seeing a pattern here?
And am I wrong in seeing a common connection between all these sites? One person who connects it all together?
Do some people think it's acceptable to {Edited by Forum team} whatever content they like for their own profit? To scrounge off the hard work of other people to make a quick "buck" and build a "brand" ?
Do they think that banner on that American website is some free bit of clipart, to use as they see fit? To make them look more professional? To mislead their customers?
I can tell them for a fact, that it's not. That reputable, professional website was designed bespoke, including the logo and graphics and was paid for and it is owned by Ooh La La beauty Spa, Florida.
I can tell the people responsible for this, that the owners of that American site are not impressed.
Indeed, they take it so seriously that they are contacting their Attorney.
Someone else has {Edited by Forum team} their work and is passing it off as their own.
I'd be livid.
My suggestion to whoever is behind that website, and I have my own very firm belief about who that is, is that they remove it immediately.
In addition, the following 5 companies were also notified several weeks ago about their own photos being used without permission on the main Grumpy But Gorgeous website: (these companies had all posted them to a website called CatchMyParty.com, where companies and amateurs showcase their parties and events)
http://catchmyparty.com/parties/belle-party-2

http://catchmyparty.com/parties/spa-party-festa-spa
http://catchmyparty.com/parties/pop-star-birthday-party-a-little-monster-high
http://catchmyparty.com/parties/storybook-princess-party
You won't be surprised to find out that the owner of Grumpy But Gorgeous also has a profile on CatchMyParty.

Thanks. There is one other piece of evidence.
Girls Pamper Parties Essex, a website linked to from Grumpy But Gorgeous and Girls Spa Parties Birmingham was carelessly published before the site was complete.
Consequently, Google cached the page as the site was still under construction.
It was a copy of My Pamper Parties.
That page is no longer in the cache unfortunately (I have it saved though) but you can still see this one, with the same text and icons from the MyPamperParties.co.uk website:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:9-FoPAfHfR0J:www.girlspamperpartiesessex.com/brentwood.html+&cd=7&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk
I still don't think these people realise how serious this is.
I've given all the information I have to the company concerned and they've asked me for details of the other infringed companies so that they may contact each other and act in unison.
I've also referred them to the Intellectual Property Office website for information on how to proceed. It quite clearly states:
"Deliberate infringement of copyright on a commercial scale may be a criminal offence."
Someone needs to get their finger out.0 -

Hope you're managing to keep up with all these shenanigans, because here comes comedy-Gold
Grumpy But Gorgeous have just created a new company profile on the Online Reputation Management site, BrandYourself.com
It's largely a cut and paste job of the company's public business profile on LinkedIn, with some subtle, but important changes.
On LinkedIn, the Director's Education section looks like this:
But the newly created profile on BrandYourself looks like this:
Spot the difference?
Let me be the first to congratulate {Edited by Forum team} on completing her degree and earning the right to use the post-nominal letters.rollers1234 wrote: »know ur facts get them right before you take to bullying an innocent girl
Let's be clear about this. This is not some silly, naive 15-year old girl we're talking about here, innocently making silly mistakes.
This is a grown woman, the director of a Ltd company who wants to do business with serious, professional companies on a national scale.
The company profile on LinkedIn describes her as:
"A multi talented director with the ability to create trends and influence the children's entertainment, activity and beauty industry."
Unbelievably, it goes on to add:
"I have the ability to spot or create a trend before it hits the market meaning as a company we stay well ahead of our competitors. By the time our competitors have copied or followed our trend, our company will have created or moved on to a new one."
She is indeed, multi-talented, with a rich and varied business portfolio.
There's this:
That site was live and accepting payments less than 2 months ago. Registered to "{Edited by Forum team}" using the same address as Grumpy But Gorgeous and the same telephone number as {Edited by Forum team}'s Chocolate Parties (before she pulled that site as well). Despite claiming to be the Registered Data Controller, the Information Commissioner could find no record of her for it.
I wonder how many daft sobs bought bids before she unsurprisingly pulled the site?
And then there's this:
(warning - may offend some people!)
Also live less than 2 months ago, accepting orders and linked to a paypal account. Registered on 12/02/2014 to {Edited by Forum team}, using the same address as Grumpy But Gorgeous and promoted all over her Facebook profile.
Or how about this? My all-time favourite:
"Kizzie had always thrived in a business environment. But after talking to various established readers and starting to give readings of her own, she realized she had a very rare talent herself -
the ability to communicate with spirit."
Still live on the internet, but expect it to be pulled very shortly, when she reads this. Funny that she didn't see that coming in the cards.
Three completely ludicrous get-rich-quick schemes, 1 person behind them all.0
