Thanks very much NP that is lovely to hear, I am going to do my best at the interview and then if I don't get it at least I will know I have tried. I am usually very positive in interviews, but this time I am a bit nervous, I think it is because I need to get out of where I am before I am made redundant in April so there is more at stake this time. Time will tell and I will report back tomorrow as to how I think it went.

Hi Natty,
It went ok really I think, the questions were pretty much as I expected, but they did say I probably would not hear anything until mid October which is frustrating, so I have to wait and see, it sounds like a nice job so I hope I did ok.
Nothing too exciting planned for the weekend, my son is off tomorrow morning on a cruise with his girlfriend and I am so jealous.
We went on a Caribbean cruise in 2006 and I haven't been away anywhere since, I can't afford anything so I am patiently waiting until my debt is gone and then I will save up for somewhere nice, probably another cruise as it was wonderful.
Hope things are well with you, I am just about to pop into diaries and see what has been happening with everyone.Been here for a long time and don't often post

Hi Heffi1
I know that Mid-October is a while to wait, not good for anyone's nerves! However I am a firm believer that if this is the job for you the Universe will deliver, and if not, then something far better is out there for you (I sound all hippy don't I?)
I have NEVER been on cruise (although did go on a pleasure boot once;) not quite the same though!) sounds wonderful and although you are going through the pain of DMP just now, at some point in the near future you will have a cruise holiday to look forward to.

Hi Rainbow, thank you I am keeping everything crossed and will see what happens, also at work this last week the new structures were out and I haven't seen them yet, my job was not included so I may have the chance of picking something up once the slotting in process is finished, but I don't want to have to bank on it just in case.
The weekend is not that good as far as saving goes.
Big breath
My sister who recently came into an inheritance is now debt free, apart from the mortgage, and we have been thinking of a holiday (cruise) but as my finance are not good, it is something I have been thinking of for later on. Well we booked a cruise, and got quite a good price, so next October my sister, me and my mum are going on holidayI feel quite guilty about it, but none of us have had a holiday at all since 2006 and as she said, we may not get one again for another 7 years so let's go and have fun.
So new plan is to save the cash, I need to make £1300 in one year which is about 108 a month, so the mortgage OPs will still be £50 per month, but no extra, this extra that I have been finding now has a new home to go to. She has paid her part and part of mums cost so it is only mine to find and she did say she might treat me to something for my birthday which is in January. I am not counting on it though and want to raise the money myself, so I am going to redo my budget to see where I can generate a few more pounds from.Been here for a long time and don't often post

It was payday yesterday and another month not overdrawn, it is a miracle ha ha
I have moved money around to the bills account and also set up a standing order to my saving account to pay for the holiday, which is now 12 months away, but if I do not put the money aside now I know the time will fly past and I won't have it, so I am being very good and budgeting for it now and will look at what else I can do to raise extra cash.
I finally received £52 from music magpie yesterday as well so that is in the savings pot, it only took about 6 weeks to process, which I think is too long, but they paid so I shouldn't really complain too much. It was quick and easy and I didn't have to put it on Ebay and wait for people to be interested in them.
Not much else happening on the money front at the moment. I have heard nothing from the job interview, but I was told it would be a couple of weeks, but I am impatient and want to know so if I am unsuccessful I can put it out of my mind and try to find something else. I have an application in for another job, but so far have not heard whether I am going to be called for interview.Been here for a long time and don't often post

Well I have just come off the phone to the FOS and have reported CL Finance, they have receive dmy letter and I had a look at my credit file again, it has been updated since the letter was sent and they have not removed the 6 payments late marker, so a very nice man called Abdul at FOS said he would write to CL Finance and ask them for their final response and if I had not had a resolution to raise a formal complaint 8 weeks after I initially asked them to correct my file, so I am now counting down the weeks until that happens, let's hope they take note that I am not messing about and will get it sorted out once and for all.
