    Happy Birthday Hilstep's OH :bdaycake:

Not much planned for today apart from DH is taking me up to Tesco this afternoon when he finishes work. It is 5 miles from here so we don't go very often. I want to stock up on some bits that I can only get there. Asda and Sainsbury are getting less and less in their sp/basics range, so I checked the Tesco website and have a nice long list :D
Oh well things to do , have good days all x

    Morning peeps.
Been MIA as I had audacity to have another weeks holiday, this time in Devon.
While we were away though H found out he is unemployed as of end of September, despite all the promises made by certain members of staff he's been shafted. Not going to go into it but those of you on FB please don't mention it on my wall.....nosey family on there ;)
So pressure on H to find a job......if he can't then I shall have to start looking :eek: not what I envisaged when I became a SAHM at the start of this year but needs must and all that. Crossing everything that H find a fantastic job, better than the crummy place he just left. So will be living in true OS style, he has a good payout but will be stashing as many pennies as possible to add to the pot.

Today will mostly be washing, washing and more washing  I have a mahoosive pile on the kitchen floor!!! I've got to pick up a parcel from post off. Really need to get washed and dressed then :o

Sorry no real OS but am sure that will kick in at some point ;)

Hugs and spoons all round xxx

    Good Morning All

Moorhen - thank you for asking, its a lot better today thankfully, I can stand up straight & walk now rather than shuffle. :o

Bitsy - sorry to hear your news, positive vibes being sent your way for hubbie to find something.

Went to the O2 yesterday, Dsis, Dniece & DD really enjoyed the walkt over - although I didn't want to do it originally I really wished I could have done it yesterday. Spent the time shuffling around the O2 instead. Got dinner out so no cooking for me yesterday:eek:

Am late posting today as been caught up with work phone calls. Apart from that have managed to have a bath and throw some clothes on but that is it. Have some important office work to do then off out to get DS some new school trousers (less than a week to go then he's back to school :j) and some veg from asda. Think will turn leftover pork into stew for OH, DS & myself and do something involving pasta for DD.

Not too much cleaning will be happening today as want to get my back properly better but may attempt a little ironing.

    Have a great day all.x

It's relatively early for me – but Mr LW rang me from work saying they want him to do an extra Early and Late shift tomorrow and Friday respectively, and checking if this would cause me any problems (for new people to the thread, I'm disabled, and Mr LW is my Carer in between working FT).:o Anyways, apart from a slight re-jig of the meal plan,;) it's not a problem – if he's on Lates, I aim to have something we can just nuke and eat when he gets home, so I'll make either Shepherd Spy or Lasagne tomorrow, which will do both days.:o

Nmlc I totally agree with you – it's fine that people want to take their children places, but they should at least ensure that their own children behave like civilised human beings! I've had many a visit to the pub spoiled by other peoples' offspring running around shrieking and causing havoc, totally unchecked. I hope the chap who took a fall was OK.

DG I hope Skye is feeling better; it'll be the best thing for her in the long run having been spayed. :o

Bitsy oh no, poor DH.:( I shall send find-a-really-super-job vibes.

Right, I'm off in search of a caffeine fix, then I'd better make the dough for tonight's pizza.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    morning all

have read the thread but nothing has sunk in :o so hugs to all who want/need them. sorry if that seems impersonal :o

trying to get organised. hospital bag for me and baby is ready pretty much apart from one or two things.but they are nothing major and can be managed without if need be. need to clear bedrooms (again *rollseyes*) and put moses basket up. having a lot of twinges and pains so want everything to be ready. ds' present from the baby is ready and ds is buying baby present on saturday. ds has a monkey that goes everywhere with him (pretty gross now :o ) and he wants to buy the baby one :D

i think the nesting is kicking in but my body isnt so willing. my back is giving me a hell of a lot of grief at the mo. so being a case of little and often. seeing midwife tomorrow and going to ask her to check iron levels again. i'm already on iron tablets 3 times a day but recognise the signs of low iron.

plan for today is to put baby clothes away (can sit down and do that), just a general tidy around so hubby can hoover tonight, clean kitchen and cook dinner. if i can get that done then i will be happy. ds is off to hubbys nan for dinner tonight. he'll be picked up about 4 and dropped about 7.30/8 so latish night for him.

he has his home visit for nursery next week so find out his start date. they stagger all the new starters so i'm hoping he'll be one of the first as i i want him settled before baby comes. he is desperate to start lol. anyone would think being at home is boring  means though he has to get back into bedtime routine and getting up early. will start that next week. we'll both have to be up and ready to out the house by 8.30ish

sorry not a lot of os there... just a lot of waffle :D:o

    hope everyone is well though
