    Morning everyone,

    EG How is your back?

    Shellie Welcome.

Hilstep hope that you have a better day today.

Well, the rain hasn't arrived here yet but it is really dull and gloomy so I imagine that it won't be long.

OH has gone of to his aunt's funeral in Stockport so I was up early to see him off.She had been ill for a long time but it is still a sad day.

DD1 and I spent 4 hours yesterday sorting her bedroom, we think that we will do a car boot on sunday with all the stuff that she is throwing out but I am a bit apprehensive as I have never done one before-any advice?

Went to see my friend's new baby yesterday, she is 2 days old and absolutely gorgeous.:D

Tea tonight is something with sausages.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

    Morning all
Back from the caravan, unloaded food & personal stuff, need to get the dirty washing & unused clothes out today, no rush as a rainy day forecast today, and a few nice days to follow.

Skye was spayed last Tuesday, and has been fine apart from it upsetting her tummy, she has been on pasta with either chicken or fish since then and it seemed to be settling so tried her back with dried puppy food yesterday, but think I should have gone slower so back to pasta today. They suggested baby vests rather than the plastic collar to stop her lickingbthecwound, so got a cheap pack of 3 from A$da yellow, blue & green, she looks well in them. Final check up on Friday. The tummy had her needing to go out at 2.30 am, there was a hedgehog in our garden, so had to put her on her lead and take her away from it to do the necessary.

OS wise, using up anything and everything left in the fridge, so meals could be interesting to say the least!

    Shellie Welcome. :hello:

((hugs)) all round, belated birthday wishes RosyRed

    Take care all DG

Grey and drizzly here, more rain forecast so no washing today - got tons of ironing to do anyway! :D

Littlies having haircuts today, then need to buy birthday present for a friend of mine and visiting a different friend after lunch. Tea will be pork steaks and various veg, dessert LO cheesecake or arctic roll.

A friend has just had her second baby, a whopper of a boy weighing 11lb 14oz, natural delivery! *insert wince smiley* According to my SiL, who lives near her, he's got tons of curly hair and doesn't look like a newborn! Will pop over to marvel at him this aft if I get chance - don't want to overload them with visitors so soon.

Have a good day, hugs and kisses to those in need, sorry I've missed any news with being MIA.

    A xo

Morning all! OUCH to the new arrival - he sounds like a very healthy boy XX

Yesterday I attacked the garden and then took advantage of the fine weather and made DH BBQ!!! Today I'm not so sure, forecast isn't great, but looks OK outside atm.

Have booked advance tickets to Warwick Castle and Conkers for Sunday and Monday for the PDA meet up and to keep the littlies busy. Saved a packet booking in advance! Need to take the littlies for haircuts today and then this evening I will label up all their school clothes. Need to wake OH and get the day started!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

Sun is out at the moment, although the radio says rain is due later. Been awaake since 4.30 and up since 5. Watched superscrimpers and the last Hairy bikers show. Was really shocked to see what 3 stone of lard looks like!:rotfl: I followed their recipes at the wwekend, making Spanish Chicken and the meat pies, both delish!:T Weighed myself this morning, and was 11stone 11lb. Was 12stoen 2lb on Saturday!

Went to the Ashford Outlet centre yesterday with a friend, didn't spend a lot, got a few Xmas pressies though. Had a jacket potato and beans, when my friend had fish and chips, so that was good.

WM on it's third load, dishwasher on too. Cousin coming for lunch. HM pea and ham soup, part baked rolls, and raspberry jelly with fresh raspberries.

OH's birthday today, but he's away working in Dorset. I am taking him out Friday night instead.

    Have a good day all:j

Morning, overcast this morning here. After the errands and my gym trip I am delivering my son's car to his carers and visiting the neighbour who complained (because my son dropped a cup over the fence into his garden) to apologise. The gentleman has now been round to my son's house 3 times to say that my son shouldn't be allowed to live there, but should be in an institution with others of his kind. My son heard all this and understood, so surpirse, surprise there was a bit of an incident yesterday when my son lashed out and caught a carer on the head.
I am furious that this neighbour believes my son should have no place in the community, but have vented long and loud elsewhere, so won't bore you all.
Will be up at my partner's tonight, so dinner is his choice and making. Lunch is baked potato and tuna salad.
So looking forward to going away next week....early start Monday morning for the ferry, then a longish drive...........then relax. Cottage in the middle of fields for a week with my partner, his sister and her partner. A stack of books as tall as me and some comfortable walking shoes for the french castles etc. Can't wait!

    Morning :hello:

I need to change my eating habits. If I'd have known I could live on tobacco and a variety of muffins and still be healthy, I'd have started this diet years ago :rotfl:

We needed stones for our path but didn't want (and couldn't afford) to pay between £4.50 - £7 per bag. Went to Wickes, found pea shingle for £2.40. We wanted six bags, so £14.40 total. BUT if you buy 10 bags, they're £1.53 each. So we picked up another four for 90p :j

It's wet and dreary here. The chickens didn't want to come out :D I hope it stops raining soon, my job list today is all outside things. I was going to clean the patio, sort the flowers pots, get the table and chairs back up, mark out the path and put the stones down and tidy up the veg patch.

I think I know what was munching on me the other night - a mosquito. I had another last night while I was falling asleep. I flicked it off a bit too hard, it hit the wall (I heard it again) and splattered blood so I had to clean it off :D I'm not one of those people who sees a slighty-bigger-than-normal spider or something and swears it was the size of a dinner plate :D but I was surprised at how big this mosquito was.

I'm off the strain the yogurt, then I'll wander round the house to try and find something to do.
