Sadly, all going to hell in a handcart here
Was rejected from Uni 2 and have put in an application for SCITT but haven't heard anything (they only have 8 places anyway, grrr).
At least I have a job I'm still really enjoying even though I want to do something else and it doesn't pay the bills.......0 -
Tete, such fantastic news :T:T
The course sounds brilliant as well, definitely an example of 'what's for you won;t pass you by!' I'm absolutely made up for you. So glad to her your Dad is doing well too.

Cross-posted with you Kitty - sorry to hear about your second interview. As you say, at least you are enjoying your current job. Hoping something comes up for you soon.
My boss just emailed me in French - hope that isn't a sign she's been stalking my internet history and knows I'm on here talking to you ! :rotfl: (It only said 'merci' but nonetheless...)Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Haha - eek to the boss Shrimpy! Speaking of work stalking, I don't know if I mentioned on here about part-time colleague who started here in Nov and has been off for one thing or another more often than she's been in. She's rung in sick this week, apparently the whole family has gastroenteritis including her 13 month old. I was driving through town to my interview yesterday and there she was with her OH, pushing the buggy. If you had gastroenteritis would you be out and about in the freezing snow with your (also-sick) baby? She didn't see me as I was in the car, and I can't say anything as I was meant to be out at a docs appointment but it confirmed my suspicions
Anyway, Kitty, you never know with the SCITT. I sent my CV off to this place almost four weeks ago, didn't even get confirmation of receipt so when theletter with their logo appeared I assumed it would be an outright rejection but it was an invite - so you never know. Any idea of a plan C? Have you thought about school direct? At least you're getting school experience of a sort where you are now, which is better than nothing xxWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
