Oooh that manor looks great! What are you doing on your blogger's mini break? :)

I agree with Dinah that you'd should definitely go for the voluntary severance. Even if you don't get on a course for September it'll give you the freedom to do something else for a little while until you do give it all up to go full-time-student. :)

  • Yeah, it's just scary! Like I say I don't even think I'll get it so it's a bit moot but I'll apply. It's about time I had some good luck!

Nothing totally planned on the holiday although I think a few of us are thinking about driving up to Chatsworth one day - the rest of the time will be booky, hooky, foodie and shoppy I think!

Tete, so sorry to hear about Mavis but glad you got the chance to say goodbye. It sounds as though she went peacefully without too much suffering. Hugs to you and Sally x

Bloggers break sounds fab too, look forward to reading about it!

I would definitely agree about applying for severance too, will be keeping my fingers crossed.

Long list Tete, good luck with it :)

Think mine is going to have to say eBay on it a 1,000 times to have any kind of hope of making March Madness

    - Join running club - have to do this in person on Monday

Just to keep myself on track. Work is v hectic at the moment so haven't had much chance to do the niggly things that I like to be able to do via the internet during the day ;) Got a night 'off' tonight though so hoping for some headway there.

Went for a run last night and found it really tough going, even though it was only 5.6k - I don't know if it's just while I get used to my new shoes - my legs (and bum) felt v weary (hope that means I'll have a lovely toned bum soon!)

Benn looking at hotels for Whipsnade and there are some real cheapo ones for about £30 each ... but then I saw this and now I really want to camp with the animals!!
