Oh big pants Tete, am so sorry to hear that.

LOVE the cape though!!! (I need one to finish my PhD). You know it's never too late to be changing careers, especially not these days. Look at me, I'll be a grand old age of 31 before even starting my *first* career.

I know waiting another year sucks, but if that's the worst option on the table then it's not too bad. But lots to try before then too. YOU CAN DO IT :j :j :j

I had a great chat with a head of dept today and it could lead to helping to run an after-school club later in the year!

Hi Kitty, that sounds great about the after-school club! Any news on your interview?

Well I went along and spent an hour at the roadshow on Saturday morning before meeting the girls and I found it really useful, spoke to some lovely people and realised just how many ways there are to get into teaching - including OU and other fully-online courses where you have to find your own placement school (this didn't appeal to me at all to be honest - can't imagine there's much support in place!). Still mulling lots of things over but I certainly don't feel that all is lost...

Moneywise, commenting on the Ultimate Incentive thread this morning made me realise that the ISA deadline will be looming before we know it, and I'm stupid to be keeping savings in a current account earning nothing when they could be in my ISA so that's something else to think about in the coming weeks.

Anyway. In the meantime - pancakes!!

Got my BA money through this morning so that's another £430ish in the pot, want to get cracking on some ebay again but they only seem to have the free listing weekends when I'm busy
