Well I'm embarrassed to say that in the last hour and a half all I have managed to cross off the list is washing the windows. We have an open plan house so when you do one you need to do them all or they just look so filthy
. So I've washed and cleaned 5 french doors and 2 windows inside and out, with "help" from my DS aged 5 .
We've also been out on another bike ride as boredom was setting in.
Now to get tea ready for 5.15 when DH will be home. Hopefully I'll manage to get some of todays list knocked off too this evening!Declutter challenge - 81/1500 (5.4%)

Oh no - a mixture of school uniform shopping (reasonably successful), unexpected visitors and lots of procrastination (including reading the bbc article - thank you to whoever posted that, sorry can't remember now
) mean that I have achieved nothing this afternoon
I was planning on taking the kids out for the day tomorrow so I need to focus and actually DO something! Think I'll eat with DH when he gets home (will be late tonight) so that I can get on while the children eat.
Who's up for a HHC at 5.30? (Just enough time to kick kids off the wii and serve up their dinner first!)0 -

Finally emptied another box from the move...a year ago! Been looking at Jojo's thread and it has given me some guag, I did just throw things rather than look first and I have a pile of stuff for the charity shop tomorrow.

More procrastination in my household but not from me. DS1 is being impossibly difficult, rude and obnoxious and obstinate. I've taken the little ones to maccy D's because I don't want them being in his presence. DH has ignored my phone calls and texts. I'm so upset I could cry.
School shoe shopping done for the 2 youngest. 3 pairs of shoes = £94! They've only got little feet! I've done a Mr T shop (forgot bin bags and loo roll). Done 2 x WM. hoovered throughout downstairs. I dewebbed the outside of the porch. Scary stuff!
I had an appt at the job centre plus today - what a depressing place. I have a Job interview tomorrow so I hope I don't have to go back.0 -
I'm just getting Squeak some squawbellies and I'll go declutter the bedside unit.. I am not touching OH's it is his crap he can deal with it
And.. larger beasts sent to KH's DS3 had to literally be dragged out of the house.. good job I weigh 4 stone more than him lol. He was screaming he hates him and he doesn't want to go and all he does is punch him... I am expecting the neighbours to be ringing SS now lol. Oh the joys! TBF, I did send him aa punishment for him and DS2 having a handbags at dawn session last night.. so they both went.. evil I know.. KH also tried telling me he only lets the older 3 not go because he is easy going.. I stifled the urge to guffaw and did not comment.. even when he said he has a right to see them.. I remained quiet.. He included DS2 in this who is 16.. crazy really, given he saw Samuel the day after he was born and hasn't seen him since, not even when he was in hospital recently and hasn't even rang to ask how he is! so has had not a jot of contact with DD1 and DS1 hasn't seen him since the day after Fabian arrived 11 weeks ago! Loser!
Anyway... on with my flinging.. I may fill a binbag for CS... and why are the new jeans I bought a couple of weeks ago not staying up even with a belt?.. and why has AF still not arrive? and why is Dot not a happy baby?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Overran on my HHC but I have washed, dried and put away all pots and the kitchen surfaces and windowsills have been cleared and cleaned and everything that lives on them wiped down.
Going straight on to a 2nd HHC...0 -
More stuff listed on ebay. Really hope it all goes as I do not want it hanging around now.
I was going to start cleaning the blinds - a job I hate soooo much. The trouble is that I leave it longer than I should and then it becomes a major job. I've tried putting them in the bath, hanging them on the line and hosing them and just about every gadget going. It still comes down to elbow grease.0 -
Mumto5 Hugs to you, you sound thoroughly fed up xx
Had a flat tyre when I came out of my second job, pumped it up but it's going down again now (slowly) so will have to take it to the tyre place tomorrow (hate going) will also be £10 lighter  I've already had to go down to buying 6 mths car tax instead of the full 12 months and now a tenner out of it too  Did quite a bit before I left for work, and OH cut the back grass whilst I was out :j
