Bedside unit cleared.. carrier of rubbish flung and a pair of knickers with dead elastic and a coat hanger.. *fling*
I have now finished the 3 lists for this week so tomorrow I get to play catch up on my list!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
2nd HHC done and barring washing the windows and sweeping/mopping the floor the kitchen is done! :j I've also brought a load of washing in off the line and hung another load out.
Need to start on bedtime routines now but I plan on being back for at least 1 more HHC tonight - which I hope will knock a good chunk off today's list. What's the betting DH doesn't even notice the difference when he comes home though!0 -
Anyone for a 10am HHC if I can get George off my knee?
You HAVE to let the poor postman get on with his rounds...Goodintentions wrote: »SnapLast year, when we got back from our holiday DH suffered & I had never seen him like that before. He hasn't been right since we got back on Saturday, and it is more than just post holiday blues or jet lag. He announced this morning that he had made an appointment at the docs, so at least he is being proactive. He is normally the one with the GUAG in this house! He does jobs because he sees them (I know that is a rarity!
), but he has only done things if I ask him since we got back, and has slept a lot (during the day, not at night
). Hopefully he will get it under control quickly
Wishing your DH all the best, and to other DHs, family members and flyladies who can be brought down by the BD; we don't choose it, it can creep up behind us and bite us hard in the backside and it sure as hell can be a b*stard to fight - much strength to all xxRowan_tree wrote: »Feeling sore today and taking it steady as I have work later.
LW I laughed out loud remembering 'George... don't do that...' :rotfl: classic stuff. They don't make 'em like that any more
Sadly I have nothing further to cross off the lists, due to an extra 2 days working this week. But I have done dailies, S&S type things, WM, DW, cooking etc and the bumpkin teen have been involved...
Mrs_Bee thank you so much for saying you missed my posts :A
Well I must get stuff ready for work tomorrow and head off to bed. Nighty night all xx*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
Good evening
I have been to the optician, and my eyes have improved slightly, so need new glasses. I had a voucher for the sight test :money: and the glasses only cost £25 as I get contacts on direct debit, so not too bad. Bought DS a new PE shirt, some PE shorts and a new blazer. It cost £36 all together - not too bad as I paid £42 for DD1's blazer alone 9 years ago!! (different school, and it lasted her the whole 5 years!! :rotfl:) Hopefully that will be the last blazer I have to buy, as he only has 2 years left. I will send him out with his dad to buy shoes as he hates shoe shopping & I don't have the patience
DH got in the washing and cooked dinner :T I now have him watching Peter Kay as laughter is the best medicine
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them.0 -
Big hugs to those with hounds.
Feel like I havent stopped today and the kitchen still doesnt look perfect but I know it is definitely cleaner. Just needs a littl tinkering around the edges to finish. LR/Hall/Stairs will only need a quick hoover/dust as still clutter free from muck out last week.
Am in bed early tonight as sore throat is worse and I feel shattered so at least if I fall asleep I am in the right place.
See you all tomorrowMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
I just had a bright idea.. I don't do it often.. DS1 and DD1 cannot afford the bounty pics of the babies so I am getting them 1 each for christmas! they should be appreciated and won't cause too much clutter in their tiny homes.
Children decluttered to bed
WM on.
ooh.. bins need to go out so I'll get that done now because I need to sneak a couple of bags in the neighbours bins as one of ours is 'missing' and our 1 remaining is full to overflowing as I've been off on one flinging!
I'll get the DW loaded too while making a cuppa..
Anyone up for a HHC at this silly hour? I will then feel able to relax into my knittingLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Pigpen I've done a HHC halftime hour crying. Unrepentant teenager. Non understanding DH. I'm considering moving out with the little ones to protect them from the constant abuse from DS1. I can't take any more. DH is more p'd off because there is no dinner. He needs to look at his priorities. I've got to pull myself together, I've got an interview for a new job in 11 1/2 hours time.0

(((hugs)))
Would it not be easier for DS1 to move out? My 2 boys were brawling last night.. so as punishmentthey were sent to KH's for dinner tonight and have been told no internet for a week if they do it again.
No doubt DH is quite capable of feeding himself so let him sulk!
Can you go have a nice relaxing bath and go to bed with a nice book or something?

(((big hugs))) Mumto5
I am sure DH is big enough & ugly enough to get his own dinner. Maybe next time he will answer his phone, and then he would know to bring something in.
I hope you get some rest tonight, and good luck for the interview tomorrow x0 -
Thanks girls. I've trapped a huge spider under a glass and retreated upstairs. No doubt I'll have to deal with it in the morni g but IV
Be had enough monsters for today. Bedtime calls. Night all x0
